I have always only owned regular old cloth potholders, but after buying these... no more. These can be rinsed quickly in the sink to remove any spilled green bean caserole that may have bubbled up over the top and clung to the pot holder as you navigated your path to the table to place it next to your holiday ham. Works well as a hot plate trivet and I also use it as an oven mitt.

These work well as trivets, but are a little stiff for potholders. It's hard to wrap them around, for example, a pot handle or the lip on a baking dish.

Wish they were smooth, collects crumbs while on counter top. Makes a great heat proof trivet on my stone counter tops. Would never use as a pot holder,too thick to be safe in my opinion.

Contains cancer causing chemicals and did not know until after purchase and saw the high warning caution sticker. Why make and sell something so dangerous especially when it involves food?. The chemical reaction is caused by heat transfer and yet that's what these are made for, to absorb heat from your pots and baking dishes. They are made really well and look amazing just not worth the risk
