A true blessing.
This electric can opener has been a life saver for me. I have trouble with my hands and have a GREAT DEAL of trouble with regular can openers. I thought I would try this one and it has been a wonderful WONDERFUL investment. My husband died a short time ago and he used to always open any cans for me. sicne he is no longer here I have to go across the road and ask my neighbour to open a can for me. He does not mind but I hated doing this and when I saw this I had to have it. I am so glad that I did and it has been a real BLESSING for me. Easy to use and just GREAT. June.

I spent 2 years looking for a can opener that a 99-year-old could use she's a good friend of mine, well I finally found one after 2 years... it's great you just put it on top of the can whether it's hooked or not it'll work its way there somehow and hold on to the lid and everything

This electric can opener works but is very noisy and cumbersome. You really can't tell that it is on the can until it starts making its noisy sound.

Needs a release button for lids caught in blade
It is sturdy enough for being battery operated. It could use a release button bcoz the lid gets caught in the rotating blade and you have to really pull it off, which defeats the purpose of being helpful for someone with arthritis issues. Not to mention that you run the risk of getting cut while trying to remove the lid.

Bent spring
I've only used this can opener a few times. When I tried putting new batteries in, as the ones that came with it had died. The negative end spring was bent and curved, making the new battery not make a good connection. I tried bending the spring straight, I wasn't successful. Bummer

Doesn't go around the whole can. Sometimes it moves but want open the can.

to complicated to try to use. can't get battery cover off. had to have the neighbor come take the cover off. can't get it to work on the cans at all it's crap
