GET THIS ITEM! 🤩I purchased the Robotwist recently and it has opened all of my bottles and jars with ease! I'm a youthful 70 yrs old, yet my hands just started having challenges. From big containers like sauerkraut, to small relish bottles and pancake syrup plus more - this product has saved my hands and allowed me to get on with my meals. Works very well for my elderly mom who has arthritis in her hands. This is the second one I ordered, the first one quit after about a year or two of use, but that's to be expected for the price.

I thought this jar opener would be a great help. And it was the first couple of times I used it. But the little arm piece I guess you would call it broke and now the only think to do with it is chunk it in the garbage. It looks like it could be fixed but it can't since one of the little arms broke off.

The description says electric, but it is actually battery operated. My hands won't allow me to open the battery compartment so my daughter had to do it for me. Very deceptive.

I have health problems with my hands, and have to ask my poor husband to open jars, water bottles (these are killer on my hands). Unfortunately the RoboTwist is not that easy to use for me. I have to continue pressing on the button until the lid opens. I was upset and frustrated being unable to open a water bottle. Main reason buying. Jars fine opened fine, but you have to hold the jar press the button! I’ll just have my husband open these things for me. Sorry not what I expected. CiCi

There isn't anything good about this item! Taking the item out the package was difficult, I almost cut myself. But after about 15 minutes I was able to extract it. When I tried to open the jar of artichoke hearts, which was the whole in buying this, the battery cover kept popping off. It popped off over a half dozen times before I finally was able secure it. Then came the task of removing the 4 inch diameter lid from the artichoke hearts. The device kept failing to grasp the lid and the jar. After numerous attempts, the two jar gripping broke off. I usually take the hit when I buy stuff like and it fails, usually because I don't get around to using it until is too late to return, but not this time!

I bought these because of the reviews as Christmas gifts for my aging family. BUT, my rating is based upon the following. Do you see the end of the title where it says 2 pack? I paid for two orders assuming I would receive 4 units total. Each order only had one unit, thus, NO 2 PACK It's called false advertising.

Not good for wide mouthed jars such as mayo or peanut butter. OK for small pickle jars. It runs for about a minute to get itself opened and ready for use before it starts working just draining the battery really for no reason.
