now i can open that jar of mushrooms no one has been able to open. from loosing strength in hands and fear of breaking glass jar. this thing is so easy to use. ordered several for friends

Works very well for my elderly mom who has arthritis in her hands. This is the second one I ordered, the first one quit after about a year or two of use, but that's to be expected for the price.

If you have problems opening jars this is perfect for you. I have rheumatoid arthritis and haven’t been able to open jars for a while. I saw this item on the Walmart app and decided to give it a try. Easy to use and I ordered the pink one and it looks exactly like the picture. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who has problems opening jars.

I bought one of these for myself and I love them so I bought another one for my friend that has arthritis and now she loves hers I saw this on a video it might not have been the same brand though anyway and he really recommended one of these so that's why I tried them and I'm so glad I did it's been one of the best things I bought if you have limited usage of your hands this would be great actually it's great for anybody but I recommend it for people that's got arthritis or you have no strength in your hands anyway try it I know you'll like it

The description says electric, but it is actually battery operated. My hands won't allow me to open the battery compartment so my daughter had to do it for me. Very deceptive.

I was under the impression this is to help seniors with arthritic hands. it is almost impossible to get it out of the packaging. I tried it on a jar that had already been opened but was still difficult to open. Well, it got stuck and I was unable to remove it. The contents of the jar became moldy. What a nightmare! I tried so many times until it finally came off.

There was an issue with the battery not being aware there was no double AA batteries included we hich is not a problem AA batteries are an item used frequently so us just a matter of time to get them. I will tell how good the product is when I get it working and I have used it I bought my elderly mom one as a birthday gift and she loved hers using it often to remove the cap off the gallon jug of Lipton sweet tea. Those caps were extremely difficult to remove breaking the Jaws of the one my mom had.

I bought these because of the reviews as Christmas gifts for my aging family. BUT, my rating is based upon the following. Do you see the end of the title where it says 2 pack? I paid for two orders assuming I would receive 4 units total. Each order only had one unit, thus, NO 2 PACK It's called false advertising.

Not good for wide mouthed jars such as mayo or peanut butter. OK for small pickle jars. It runs for about a minute to get itself opened and ready for use before it starts working just draining the battery really for no reason.

Did not work. Put 2 sets of batteries in and it still did not work. They had 2 choices for trouble shooting but for it to initially turn on there were no solutions. There is no light to indicate it is on and operational. I wish i had my $20 back to buy some non slip grip jar opener.
