it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and once it finishes cutting your lid it stops spinning around the can. you still have to manually stop it but that's not a big deal at least you know it's cut. I love that it doesn't have replaceable batteries that you can just recharge this thing and keep using it for years.

A very easy to use one. Just place it on a can, press the button, and it does the rest. Didn't expect much from a can opener but this one is good. No more struggling or sharp edges. The smooth edge finish is great. And perfect for anyone with weak hands or arthritis like my grandma who now uses it every day. Rechargeable with usbC, super convenient, shares the same cable with my phone. Feels sturdy yet light weight. Already recommended it to a few friends who have elderly in their home. Worth the money.

I have arthritis in both hands and I just set this on top of the can and let it go. It came partially charged, so I charged it all the way before use and it's working great! Any size can from a large coffee can to a small tomato paste can. It is quiet and strong. I just love it! Don't have to worry if the electric goes out either.

First one to purchase, Easy to operate on small cans such as fruit, veg %26 tuna cans. I would recommend these openers for anyone who has problems operating conventional openers due to arthritis or joint problems as I do. I purchased mine just before christmas %26 loved the ease in operating it while cooking, just set it on top of cans ridge / edge flat push button it will slightly lift towards back and begins opening, easy. Be careful not to try to operated it like a conventional one as had some tried helping me. I am also curious if they make them for large commercial cans?

I got this because my arthritic hands were hurting even trying to use an electric can opener I have had for years. I don't know yet how long it will last but it is definitely making me happy now. I just put it on the can as instructed and push a button and it does the job. I also like the lack of sharp edges of tin. It is a clean cut and so so easy. I wish I had bought sooner. Also it doesn't take up counter space. It fits easily in a drawer.

I have had mine sine December 2025. It worked good for a few months after I learned how to use it. Lately it only cuts long shards of metal around the can but doesn't open the can. This is useless and will cause you to cut yourself if you don't see the metal shards

had to return. wasn't opening cans at all even after riding around on top of them and screaming loudly for over half an hour, which was ridiculous to even wait that long to begin with. tried multiple times. kept leaving sharp shards of metal that ended up cutting my finger open upon removing the can opener from the can. even tried holding it down to ensure proper seating and readjusting it multiple times as well as recharging multiple times it despite it being fully charged, nothing done would make it open the cans. ended up having to go buy a countertop can opener (for the same price btw.) don't purchase. save yourself the headache and the bloody fingers.

It was easy to use, but was slower than expected. The reason I give it only one star is because of the metal fragments it left on the can's edge, two of the pieces of metal fell off when I touched them. If they fall into the can and someone consumes them it can be life threatening. I do not recommend this can opener.
