I have wanted an Ecoflow power station for a while now. I snagged this on sale for $140 and have used while camping twice and it is a game changer. It's super light, only 7 pounds. It is limited in power output and capacity, don't expect to use a toaster, microwave, etc. but something like a large fans is ok, I can even run a Starlink dish for 2 hours. Very cool product Ecoflow is the Cadillac of power stations.
it was really good for the money... the 2 usb A ports were dinasoar in charging capabilities... it barely kept the device from shutting off.. i did like the usb C port it was bidirectional for input and output so it made flexible to be able to charge three different types of charging... i really didn't like the battery life is short but it also charges fast plugged in ac charging... the car charging takes about three times longer maybe more... the button that turns on the AC output is aggravating... you have to keep pressing on it then had to press and hold a second and release to turn on the inverter every thing else is good
This is a great little/small portable power station. The best brand: EF Eco Flow River 2 , punching power for a small battery. we love it.
I bought this after losing power for six days after hurricane Beryl. I chose this one because it only weighs 7.7 lbs and it has output of up to 600W, power 6 appliances. It has ports from 300W AC outlets to USB-C. It can run two 10 in fans, charge my phone and laptop and more. It really is fast charging. This smaller EcoFlow Portable Power Station fills my needs.
I've been using the EcoFlow River 2 almost daily since it arrived for an extended summer camping excursion. I'm using a 60w Solar Charger Panel (multiple device charging ports) to keep the River2 charged up and have only needed to AC charge twice. The River2 primarily powers my 24" ONN.Roku TV, which on the TV's extreme low power settings, I can get 9-10 hours of on time per charge (15w per hour). I also use it to do pass through solar charging once River2 is fully charged and I attach any number of USB devices too. Couldn't determine if the USB-C/PD input charging worked because my solar panel PD port maxes out at 30w and haven't tested the 12v DC cigarette lighter port because I just don't use/have a need to use that. My 60w Solar Charger Panel will charge it in 5-7 hours, averaging about 35-45w through the panels MC-4 cables. The Bluetooth app needs to finished because it's not good for much more than very simple monitoring.
It's on the light end of the scale of generators, charges super fast(itself) then charges all my (devices) less than 45min easily with the correct charger. Def have a solar power option I have yet to use. But it's light weight I tote it in my regular back pack. This thing is amazing, I have a fan, 2 iPhones, 1 android, 1 laptop. Everything in these reviews are honest. I'm upgrading because we a little more power living off grid. This one does the job and for that price it's great if you're just starting out. Again the price you can't beat it, 9.5/10 would recommend. Comes with all cords you need. We need more A %26 C sockets. Other than more power %26 more sockets we want this is an amazing generator. Plus it has an app! That's always a plus. I mean it charges so quick you guys. When it's completely dead it takes 40 min to charge fully back up. Need I say more! Buy this one if it fits your family size . It's sturdy, the grips on the bottom make it non slip or slide, the LEDs on this thing are bright and late at night visible. You will be taken away by this small generator!!! 😍😄 I will come back to add photos 06/19/2026
The unit does what it claims to do, batteries charge fast and it does power my devices. The only problem I have with it is the wifi connectivity. I use the google mesh wifi for my home, this uses both the 2.4 and 5G bands, with no way to disable the 5g to set up the unit. The Ecoflow will not connect to my 2.4G while 5G is up. I talked to their support and they have no solutions to work around this, which I think is crazy as I have over 50 smart home devices that only use the 2.4G band and they all installed and connected to the wifi with no issues, but the Ecoflow can't. A deal breaker for me on getting the larger Ecoflow units as I was planning.
Battery will not hold a charge. Goes down 10% every day without anything on. I can't understand customer service on phone and they are giving me the run around. I've called two times and they keep telling me the techs will email me then they don't. I don't recommend this product!
I purchased a NEW river 2. This unit was loud straight out of the box. Also shipped from a walmart return center.
When I charged it for the first time, it didn't even reach 100%. It only went up to 98% no matter how long I charged it, and it drained very quickly.
