If you like full, rich, full bodied coffee, this is what you buy, the real dark Italian espresso is very dark and finely ground. I have gotten some occasionally where the grounds were not as dark and the grind was courser, more like the French Roast, which is good but not as good as the , now hard to find dark Italian espresso. If you don't roast the coffee as long, and don't grind the coffee as fine, both these processes take more time which equates to money. The attatched photo is the real dark Italian espresso
No longer available at the store, so I order online. There's nothing else available that tastes as good.
I wake up to a steaming cup of Freshly ground goodness every morning.
A really deep, rich roast without the hefty price tag. I'm glad I bought the large size bag. Delicious!
The coffee grounds are strong but not burnt. They are flavorful in the incredible way. By far, this is the best coffee out there. I make Vietnamese coffee with a phin. Extremely easy to make and extremely delicious. It's espresso but without an expensive machine. I've made it for numerous people, and every single time, “this is the best coffee I've ever had in my entire time.” And it is the best.
Not just the money, but the flavor (and the smell!)… Coffee beans are supposed to be the peak of flavor about a week after they're roasted. Being that most of us don't live near a roasting facility, this will do fine! Not bitter like Starbucks, and a better value than Dunkin Donuts, my favorite coffee beans from the store…
This coffee has been my daily driver for quite a few years. I t has a rich coffee base flavor %26 an added flavor that other coffee blends don't seem to have. It's not the best tasting coffee out there, but it's one I can enjoy daily at a fair price point.
Best coffee beans I have found! When these were out of stock for a while I kept trying different brands and types and nothing compares to the dark Italian roast. It makes a perfect espresso every time! When hubby wants just a black cup it delivers just as well! The other kinds roasts and other brands were too bitter and didn't transition from espresso to black coffee well.
I've been drinking this coffee since the days of A%26P and Acme when you bought the whole beans and the cashier had a coffee grinder at the end of the register where you could grind it yourself. The smell in the car drove me crazy on the way home. That was a long time ago and I have tried "gourmet" brands, but I am a coffee lover and still buy 8'Oclock!
I was seeking an alternative to an Italian espresso from *bux which has been my I for many years. The Eight O'clock Dark Italian Espresso is every bit as delicious and a better value. I make a double-digit macchiato every morning and it must have that rich creamy caramel finish! Italians make the best coffee, in my opinion.
