I take a heavy dose as soon as I feel a cold coming on and it has worked every time. Even the Big Co19 was able to be fought off IME b4 any major symptoms were experienced when taken early enough.
First thing we do every morning “cheers” w a shot of elderberry this is an amazing natural immune booster
Black Elderberries have a long-held reputation for their immune-supporting properties. So, I was excited to give this product a try. I only use one teaspoon per day. I drizzle a bit on my pancakes. Put some in my yogurt. I have also made into ice cubes. Mix with water & freeze to put in my water. I even tried it in my BBQ sauce. Because The sweet taste can tone down the heat in a spicy barbecue sauce. I'm sure there are probably a million other things you could do with this product. But I have to say, I'm impressed with the outcome of what I have tried and will continue to use.
The taste is great! We've purchased locally-made elderberry syrup and while sometimes those syrups are more bitter and less flavorful (which makes it harder to convince my four littles to take it!), Elderberry Queen's syrup has a slight bitter berry taste, but has been honey-sweetened and really has a great flavor for being a health supplement. My kids also like that it's more of a juice consistency than a syrup, and I like that it's made with all organic ingredients and ALSO sneaks some apple cider vinegar in, which is impossible to get my kids to take. I like that this is available year-round, and can be shelf-stored until you're ready to use it (for families that primarily use elderberry during cold months). I'd definitely recommend Elderberry Queen if you're in the market for elderberry syrup.
I started having a very dry, scratchy sore throat and some drainage and was worried I was getting sick considering it had already gone through my family. I started taking 1 dose of 2 T each day and haven't gotten any worse and even a little better so far. This is going on day 3. I'm grateful because it felt like I was going to get really sick and I have not. The taste is a bit strong and grainy so I strongly recommend drinking it fast and follow up with a drink of water.
There's not much to review on medicines like this except for the taste and texture. I usually take Sambucol elderberry syrup. This product tastes like a watered down version of Sambucol. It tastes good don't get me wrong but it was a shock when I took my first dose. It's not thick either like Sambucol. This bottle has to be refrigerated after opening unlike other over the counter elderberry syrups. I love how there was a little write up on the bottle from the maker. I too have 5 kids and understand the life that it brings. As a Christian, I loved seeing the scripture reference. This being organic was a plus for me.
I love the taste of Elderberry Queen syrup. It's very light, but powerful. Elderberry is know for it's health benefits. It also contains Aronia Berry, which is great for iron insufficiency. I love the taste of organic honey, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. It doesn't contain any other ingredients. That's a big plus for me, and everyone else, who believes in natural healing. I take one tablespoon everyday, and it doesn't give me any stomachache. I'm highly recommend it to anyone, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

I was disappointed when I received this that it isn't the texture of syrup. This is more like strongly flavored juice. I've been putting it in my daily smoothies and it's really delicious there, however my original intention was to use it on my daughter's pancakes.
It didnt do what I had hoped for. I heard it stopped coughing, it did not.
