My old swatter finally gave out, and I had been looking for new ones to put in all areas of my house. These guys are great! I bought 2 sets (4 total swatters) and all are ready to go in different areas of my house. Don't underestimate them - they will work on just about any insect. This has been an especially bad year here for all kinds of bugs, and they've proven to be effective for just about any bug! I've used them for everything from gnats to spiders to huge crickets! While the big ones are more of a challenge, these swatters will still cure your bug ills! You may need to maintain contact with the live swatter for a bit longer on larger bugs, but these swatters will do the trick!
I love it!!! Wasps keep getting into my room, and today I was met with a FAT red wasp on my curtain! I didn't even need to swat at the wasp, it just stepped on the swatter and ZAP it was electrocuted and died quickly after!! So worth it if you have flies, wasps, and mosquitoes in your house! I want to try it out on a flea next!
my husband uses this because he sits on the back patio here in Georgia. since he is now retired he spends a lot of time out there and absolutely loves this. He says it even works on wasps. I had to tell him to leave my bees alone though! this combined with the ceiling fan and citronella is a winning combo against flying insects in the South and that is saying a lot
Way better than the name brand! Perfect for killing any bug with ease even small fruit flies! We had so many fruit flies and tried everything from plug ins to the little apple traps and nothing worked as well as this! Now our fruit fly infestation is gone! And if I ever see one, I can easily kill it! And the zap sound is so satisfying!
I ordered two of these electronic bug zappers and one came with a broken handle I texted and Kyle sent me another one along with a fidget spinner which was very great of him he needs to do good business with everybody I'm sure I will deal with him again
Love these electric rackets they work well I've been used them to chase occasional mouse and snake. lol. Once in a while, I have trouble finding the button when I'm in a hurry to activate it, but it's different from my old one. I'll get used to it. You'll love them too.
I recommended these paddles, however be advised that the cover to the battery compartment for both of these swatters fell off early in their use. One has been lost; the other taped back on. They do zap insects effectively. If you get one, before you deploy it, tape down the battery compartment cover. On the one for which the battery cover has not been recovered, I have used scotch tape around the handle and over the two AA batteries to keep the batteries in place. On that one, check to make sure the swatter 'on' button lights up when you are gripping the handle, because the battery compartment cover is missing and the scotch tape over the batteries does not hold them very securely in place. So press down to make certain the two batteries are seated in place before you swing the swatter. Good luck!
They work very well to neutralize flying insects quickly, with a zap, and without a mess compared to a flyswatter. They use readily accessible AA batteries compared to plug-in researchable models plus the AA batteries seem to last many months. In retrospect the Jumbo model may be easier to handle.
This is surprisingly an effective product for mosquitoes and other small bugs such as gnats, etc. Any larger insect will not die on contact, but may be only stunned from the shock. To get rid of those will require multiple zaps, such as for carpenter bees, spotted lantern flies, stink bugs, etc. Overall, great product so far. We have used these for about 5 months.
It's not just this brand, they r difficult to use. U can't just swipe in the air toward a fly to kill them. U have to actually lay the racket on top of them to kill them. Flies do not stay still for this to happen.
