I live in Florida and have been looking for ways to deal with the heat and humidity. Cold-effect pillowcases are a real lifesaver! They actually feel cool and help reduce my body temperature while I sleep. It's much more comfortable, especially during hot days. It's a nice design, except it's only the cooling on one side of the pillowcase. It would've been nice if it was the whole pillowcase was a coin pillowcase.

If you suffer from night sweats, this pillow case is not for you. The pillow case has a tendency to stick to your face, and it becomes discolored. The cooling effect lasts only for a minute or two.

There is a silky outside, but as in blanket a bamboo side is what draws heat away into air. Zipped close and no bamboo side in the design leaves no way to draw heat away into air. Doesn't work well.

They are not at all cool and do not stay cool. My pillows are literally 5 feet from my window air conditioner. Once I put my head down, the pillow warms up just like any other pillow case, In fact, percale cases are cooler than these.
