I've needed these hoses for my garden but my local Walmart hasn't carried this size. Once I remembered Site-to-Store, problem solved. I'll use this option more in the future.
Really like how it works
I've used it for a few weeks and so far I am very satisfied, except one thing. The connection between the hose and end screw that connect to the water hose got loose and came off. I push it back in and lower the water presser. It seems to have resolved the issue.
This hose weeps through out and not spray everywhere getting every thing wet, Perfect for my Green house Irragation.
Most other stores carry this item with a much higher price. Good for slow watering plants and trees. Shipping was prompt.
Not crazy about it. I thought I would get o e likes years ago when the little holes sprayed up and you could see where the water was going. It is good to keep around the house for foundations though. Might get another for that alone though.
I was excited to try a soaker hose for my garden bed but give 4 and not 5 stars because there was a terrible leak where the garden hose screws into the soaker hose. It's very annoying having a product not work properly right out of the packaging. The SoakerPro coupling poured water out of the connector all over my vegetable bed and the water pressure was barely on low. I figured the very wobbly coupling needed stabilizing so I tried a sturdy rubber washer out of an old water nozzle and inserted it into the SoakerPRO coupling over the blue water restrictor disk and then reattached the garden hose. That seemed to cut down the leakage immensely. I think the manufacturer should already know this during testing and provide the necessary rubber washer to give you the option to use it if you need to. I thought maybe the washer had fallen out of the connector but looking closely at the package photo of the coupling, there is no washer over the blue water restrictor disk. Anyway, I finally got the soak feature primed. It works okay now without drowning my 9x4-foot raised vegetable garden bed at the hose connector site. We didn't bury the hose under the dirt but circled it around two trenches between three hill rows of vegetable plants. I keep it aboveground to watch the uniformity of the watering. So far, so good. Colorite Element hoses have lifetime warranties except for SoakerPRO which is 7 years only according to the paper that's twist-tied to the hose. Reading reviews on people's poor experiences with plastic hose soakers cracking and ripping right away, I decided to invest in this sturdier rubber soaker. After correcting the product's leakage defect, I can now recommend this soaker system for its pliability (not as stiff as I thought it would be), has uniform watering distribution, is made from 65% recycled rubber (tires?), and is lead-free.
The first sentence under instructions is "Before using, place the washer firmly into the coupling at the faucet end to ensure a tight seal". No washer comes with the unit and checked all the 25' and 50' units on shelf and no washer with any units. I had to go buy washers so it would work because it leaks too much to run.
The hose came quick which was nice. I started to hook up the 1st of 2 hoses I bought and the foam end of the hose fell out of where it was supposed to be connected so I pushed it back in. Got the second hose out, the foam end fell out of that one. I used the hose for hours but it only waters where it lays. I thought it was a great idea but now I know it wasn't. If I could get my money back I would but I've already used them.
It was cheaply made and it blew out a hole. The seller would not replace the item after 6 weeks of use.
