This was the perfect Christmas gift for my 11 year old grandson who has taken an interest in electric circuits.

Got this for my niece and she loved it.

It is great toy for learning in electronics.

I had a Radio Shack kit similar to this when I was about 10 years old, I'm now an electronics technician. My daughter LOVES this! Maybe she will become an Electronics Engineer some day. It's good to teach kids the fundamentals of how things work.

My husband wanted this because he had one as a child and loved it and now he wanted to share that with our two girls. They have had hours of fun (and education) time playing with this. I would highly recommend it!

I bought this for my 7 year old grandson and he was very excited about learning the basics of electronics hands-on. This model was a great starter kit!

Bought this for my twelve year old son as he was interested in electricity and electronics. Kinda thought he wouldn't play with it due to video game distractions and other gifts. He really liked making these simple circuits and I was suprised to see itbeing easy-to-use without much instruction from me. It has a lot of different circuits and starts with simple ones and gradually goes to more complex circuits. It has a brief forward of how each component works and an explanation of how each circuit works. I would have liked to have seen a little more colorful and more thoural explanation of the components but still this is a great toy for a beginner. I find it hard to believe children are not taught basic electricity in school as part of math science as this is both in one and makes math seem like a much more useful tool rather than teaching equations that have no real value.
