It's one of few STEM toys that actually are STEM. I got it for my daughter and she loves it. It is great to give child intuitive understanding how electricity works. The box has 750 projects. Though note many are somewhat repetitive. I also wish the projects also came with explanation with how each of the circuits work, as of now someone familiar with electronics would have to explain. I guess this maybe was intended more in classroom so the teacher would provide explanation. Also in my set had two problematic pieces: - motor - which worked, but it seem like it might have some wiring issue, the step motor project especially exposed it - music IC was completely broken and did not make any sound Though after using their website they mailed the components for free (including shipping) so now I have everything operating correctly and I'm satisfied.

Love this, the kids learn about circuits and how electrical pathways work. We make sure they never do it without an adult and that they follow the instructions for each circuit path

Great item it does what I was expecting

We bought a smaller set at Christmas and our son loved it. For his sixth birthday we decided to upgrade to this set. If there was only one thing I would change I wish the box lid was a bit stronger as you are encouraged to store the items in the box. You can buy a nice hard plastic case or use the original box it comes in and buy a bag to carry the box in from the snap circuits website though. Other than that this is an amazing product and if you have a natural engineer they will build for hours!

Has many projects to entertain for a long time. Elenco replaces failed components at no cost on their website. Great product and company.

This was the perfect fit for our 4 year old who is now interested in batteries and all things electronic! Being only 4 he needs to be supervised but he is always asking for the "snap circuits" to be brought out!

shipped as a birthday gift. arrived on time. instructions and connections were easy enough for 8 year old to work on alone.

My grandchildren are turning 7 and 9 and both were thrilled when they opened this gift. They have been making circuits and beeps and buzzers ever since they received it. They had played with it somewhere else and were delighted to own it themselves. They can do it together or separately - it's interesting for both boys and girls. I think my husband enjoyed it as much as the kids.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson for Christmas. It was his favorite gift. He played with it for hours on Christmas Day and did not want to go to bed. The pieces snap together as easily as Lego. The instructions are clear and explain each project. He was even experimenting with multiple parallel circuits on his own after completing only the first five projects. I would highly recommend this item as it is of high quality, educational, and fun to play!

There a couple of the projects that don't work quite right but my kids & husband loved this "toy" & play with it for hours. Great way to keep your kids simple circuits.
