Nice and Simple
The design is simple so that made it easy for my son to do a lot of the work on his own. The paint ran short but luckily we had extra at home. I wish there had been more accessories to make the volcano look more real and have more character. This would have justified the price a little better. However, the project turned out and my son thought is was a success.

Feel unworthy
Something you think the Smithsonian put it's name on would be a good product. Sorry, not at all. Barely enough plaster material to cover structure, let alone make a convincing terrain. Do not expect to awe the children. They were not impressed. I suggest getting your own materials and making one. Much better results and not a lot of money. Plaster wrap, heavy cardboard, a piece of plastic pipe and you have it!

Paper mache did not work.
Paper Mache did not stick. I will have to make my own in the morning to appease my son, as he is very upset.
