NSI Smithsonian Robo Spider Model Kit for Kids Ages 8 and up

I built this for a 4 year old whom help taking the parts off the mold injection frame. I thought it was going to have a lot of issues to be played with, found the device to be flexible and solid. My 4 old after a few upsets playing with it was able to turn on and off the spider action and enjoy it crawling on the floor and even after a few drops that required minor re-assembly, he got the hang of handling it properly and able to identify the various parts and is enjoying overall problem free play for the past week.

I love the look and size and that they are interactive. I bought 2 for my grandsons.

once finished the spider is really cool. kids had a lot of fun putting it together. me, a 5 and 9 year old took about an hour to assemble. The battery terminals were the hardest to put together. the wires are so tiny and you have to wrap then around a small metal conductor but it constantly falls off. the bolts on the legs will also come off and a few uses so keep pushing them back in as youre playing. Fun toy but could be a little sturdier.

This item was a gift I took to out of the country for Christmas. Unfortunately one part was broken and my nephew couldn't build it as it should. I don't have it because it was a gift and can't return it to get a refund or a replacement. The shipping package could have been better. I will buy it again for him on my next trip.
