Junk
This is the biggest piece of junk. It shot a whole 1/2 an inch. There is nothing that we could have done to make this thing work. DO NOT waste your money. Will be returning next time I go to walmart and never buying anything again from Smithsonian.

it never went up
it never worked for me, it popped up maybe 2 inches and then just the foam/water from the baking soda and vinegar was there. the box says 50 feet up, that was so not true. so not worth it. dont buy this.

Complete bust!
This rocket is a complete piece of garbage. Measurements do not fit the toy...tried to fly it and it barely got off the ground. Yes I know the conversion of teaspoons to an oz... I will be returning this to the store and will never buy this brand of science product again. Should have been a great gift for my 10 yr old, instead it was a complete bust!!

Horrible product, save your $$$.
I wish I had read reviews on this product before I purchased it. If I could give this piece of junk a zero I would have. The parts are molded roughly, the design is awful, and a lift off of 100 ft - your joking! Ours took off and maybe went up 20 feet. Our first lift off the rocket jacket came apart and fell to the ground. The means of mixing the vinegar with the baking soda was thoughtless. I know this product was cheap, but even cheap should work a few times and not fall apart. I am shocked the Smithsonian allows their name to be associated with this horrible product. What a disappointment to my children. Save your cash and your time - it "ain't" rocket science.

Garbage
Absolutely horrible quality. Foam wings were bent out of shape so had to set thing on them to bend them back. Followed directions but it all just spewed out and didn't leave the launch pad. I tried a few times then my wife did, only thing we accomplished was making a mess and wasting baking soda and vinegar. Don't waste your time or money.
