We bought this science kit for our seven-year-old grandchild, as a birthday kit. My husband and I both have engineering degrees but have not had any electrical engineering classes in many decades. Unfortunately, there are no directions in English for this kit. But we were able to look online to refresh our memories of how circuits should be set up. If someone has no experience with electricity, I'm not sure they could handle this kit and be able to show a child how to use it. The shame of it is, it is a very nice learning experience and a well-made product. They just have to include directions in English to make this a very good gift.

We love snap circuits, and the green energy set is a great addition. All of the pieces are very well made and the instructions are very clear for kids to figure out.

I'm an adult. I wanted to try to learn to invent by doing internet searchs, and by play learning. It's an easy to put together toy. It looks good. It's almost done for you. A preteen could use it with a small adult help kick start. It doesn't seem like they gave a do not break one way warning with the ristors. I never burnt one. The parts have flow chart symbles on them. It lacks examples of the algerbra you would be using if you were an eletricnal engeneer. Those are not complants. They are thing I'd add. It's a perfict learning toy. It's hard to mess up. I got it on sell. The normal price isn't cheap. It is worth the money. Look at Rude Goldburge mechineses to get a better idea of what is happening in eltronics. I keep mine in faraday cases incase an EMP takes out my toy. All it would take to become an eletrical enginere after playing are some books.

My 7 year old guy has been at this for hours. Some of the STEM kits are still a bit advanced for him, but this is so easy to assemble and actually learn how circuits work. He wants more
