I bought this for my Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students. They absolutely love using the little mouse! It took some time for them to figure out how to properly connect the green square pieces. If not connected correctly, the platform sits crookedly. They are excited to create new paths to help the mouse get to the cheese. They do need some help with more complicated paths.

I like to buy educational yet fun toys for my niece and nephews. Gave it to five year old nephew- he loves it!!

It was a birthday present for my six year old. I was wondering if to buy it because some reviews for poor quality and the mouse being broken shortly after purchase/not working at all. I decided to buy and i do not regret - we have used it only a couple of times, but everything seems alright. My kid was very entertained and stayed enthusiastic about it.

This activity set is the perfect amount of stimulation, thinking, and reward when the mouse gets the cheese. Bought the additional mouse so each boy would have his own to go with the set. Fast, free shipping from Walmart too. Arrived at their house in 3 days.

I really enjoy this game and the mouse. My Kindergarten kids enjoy it and are building their own tracks and obstacles for it.

This is the perfect gift for my 5 year old grandson. It will be his first experience in coding. I know how much he will learn and how much fun he will have doing it!!

I bought these for use at our school, but tried it first with my 6 year old son. He loved it!! He loved setting up the parts to match the cards and he let out a cheer when the mouse got the cheese! This is a great intro to coding and computer science. There are other similar products out there, but this is a great product for a lower price. The orange tunnels don't fit super well so I tend to just reposition them wherever I feel they should be. The mouse doesn't always turn a full 90 degrees depending on the surface of play, but a simple nudge will set him back on track. I'd recommend it to others!

My kindergarteners LOVED playing with this. Such a terrific learning tool for STEM related activities. Wish the purple plastic pieces for creating an obstacle course/walls were a little less flimsy-maybe a slightly thicker, more flexible plastic??

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. I teach 1st and 2nd grade students and we recently had a school assembly about STEM projects that promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics- so this game tied in perfectly! The students were immediately engaged with this activity because they got to program the robot mouse to go where they wanted it to go. It was best for small groups 2-3 children playing at once because it is more fun for them to all be involved that way. The set up was easy and the directions were simple- the game comes with color coded cards so the children can plan out their moves before testing it out- helping them to feel successful! Although the maze seemed relatively easy at first, it did require spacial awareness and critical thinking for the students to plan out all the moves of the mouse before pushing go! All my students very entertained by the game! I enjoyed that setting up the game also required the students to use spacial and mathematical thinking. It was fun for them to watch the mouse go around the maze because the mouse lights up and makes cute sounds. I did need to walk the students through how to move the mouse the first round- but they were excited to try it on their own after that! One comment is that the mouse has 2 speeds- normal and hyper. The students were a little disappointed that "hyper" speed was not as fast as they thought it would go. Otherwise- a fun challenge game!

not a good value for my money. poor quality plastic and not very engaging. child wasn't really interested in this. ultimately returned it and got something with more functions/features.
