I bought this for my Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students. They absolutely love using the little mouse! It took some time for them to figure out how to properly connect the green square pieces. If not connected correctly, the platform sits crookedly. They are excited to create new paths to help the mouse get to the cheese. They do need some help with more complicated paths.

I like to buy educational yet fun toys for my niece and nephews. Gave it to five year old nephew- he loves it!!

It was a birthday present for my six year old. I was wondering if to buy it because some reviews for poor quality and the mouse being broken shortly after purchase/not working at all. I decided to buy and i do not regret - we have used it only a couple of times, but everything seems alright. My kid was very entertained and stayed enthusiastic about it.

This activity set is the perfect amount of stimulation, thinking, and reward when the mouse gets the cheese. Bought the additional mouse so each boy would have his own to go with the set. Fast, free shipping from Walmart too. Arrived at their house in 3 days.

I really enjoy this game and the mouse. My Kindergarten kids enjoy it and are building their own tracks and obstacles for it.

This is the perfect gift for my 5 year old grandson. It will be his first experience in coding. I know how much he will learn and how much fun he will have doing it!!

I used this as a group activity with kindergarten. You have to teach the kids not to "rev" them like a toy car. You must let the motor drive the wheels. If the mouse goes the wrong direction you have to teach them to pick the mouse up and hit the yellow button to stop it. Needless to say, a few got broken. I sent in the purchase information and the serial numbers and got replacements, under warranty, BY RETURN MAIL! It took 3 days! On explore day, the kids love making the mice giggle with the cheese. They find the magnet pretty fast. On learn to play day, it is easier to assemble the board into the rectangle and use the easy cards. Some kids really like setting up the mazes more than programming the mice. Over all, this is a great toy and Learning Resources is a great company to work with.

I bought these for use at our school, but tried it first with my 6 year old son. He loved it!! He loved setting up the parts to match the cards and he let out a cheer when the mouse got the cheese! This is a great intro to coding and computer science. There are other similar products out there, but this is a great product for a lower price. The orange tunnels don't fit super well so I tend to just reposition them wherever I feel they should be. The mouse doesn't always turn a full 90 degrees depending on the surface of play, but a simple nudge will set him back on track. I'd recommend it to others!

My kindergarteners LOVED playing with this. Such a terrific learning tool for STEM related activities. Wish the purple plastic pieces for creating an obstacle course/walls were a little less flimsy-maybe a slightly thicker, more flexible plastic??

not a good value for my money. poor quality plastic and not very engaging. child wasn't really interested in this. ultimately returned it and got something with more functions/features.
