A Real Eye Opener

FionaB August 7, 2019

I'm nearly 47 and to be honest, I've spent most of my life buying high price point cosmetics believing that pricier items were better for mature faces. Well,I was soon put right by ELF .This was the first ever item I bought from ELF and it certainly hasn't been my last. I was with a friend one day and we were browsing through the make up when I spied this shadow/liner. I fell in love with the colour swatch and bought it straight away. And it has now become my absolute go-to liner. It really doesn't budge, yet comes off easily with make-up remover,it is really good for contact lense wearers like myself and the colour pay-off is very rich. I bought the shade Metallic Mocha. And let me tell you, if you have blue/grey eyes this will make them pop from your face like nothing else. This is by far, the best eye product Ive ever had. I've got them in every colour. They are just so versatile and they have a handy little sharpener hidden in the end of the stick. What's not to love? Totally brilliant!

Terrific long wear eyeshadow

Norwestar March 10, 2019

This eyeshadow is as good as the big name ones, and the colour, Rose Gold, is beautiful. It goes on evenly, is blendable and last summer as long as you want it to. I'll be buying other colours.

Best brightening pencil!

Ramadani December 10, 2022

OMG the shade Perfect Pearl is the best shade to brighten the inner corner of your eyes. It just glides into the skin so effortlessly I love it so much! 10/10 you must buy it 🤌🏻✨

My only ELF purchase...

MiMi January 4, 2026

This is the only ELF product I use and its bcz of the color. This is so easy to apply. Its creamy and smooth and stays in place with normal wear. I have not experienced any creasing. The color is this metallic gray color, but not like chrome or glitter. It looks like there is some mauve blended in. It almost feels like a neutral. It goes with almost anything I'm wearing so I am wearing this almost every day.

easy to use and nice to wear

ebbace March 15, 2020

I got the pink shade and the bronze metal. The pink is lovely, bronze is a little darker that I expected but still nice. Unfortunately the bronze one was loose in the tube but pushed it back in and seems fine

Hit-or-Miss

BobMum March 20, 2023

These are really peculiar--they are very hit-or-miss, depending on the colour. I have the Magnetic Pull, Champagne Crystal, Rose Gold and Perfect Pearl. The Magnetic Pull and Rose Gold are fabulous--soft, great colour payout. The Champagne Crystal and Perfect Pearl are a bust--nice colours, but lousy payout and so stiff they pull at your eyelids--and still give almost no colour, even on the back of my hand. I even tried soaking them in hot water to soften them--no dice. I just noticed, as I pulled them out to write this review that the two lousy ones came in metallic tubes, and the great ones are in plain plastic tubes. I don't know if they changed the formula when they changed the tubes, as well. It looks like the plain tubes are newer (since that's what's on the website) so that could be the case. I may try ordering the Perfect Pearl again, and see if it has improved any. If so, I'll update this review.

Amazing with one problem

Caity99 August 1, 2024

I have the shade Champagne Crystal and I love it. I use it as a pop of shimmer on the corner of my inner eye. However, I have to give 3 stars instead of 5 because my second stick kept popping out of the packaging…like I would open it up and it just came out as total block. Eventually it seemed to come out of the base while closed and got stuck in the lid, and I've never been able to get it unstuck. So I think this is a hit or miss product based on the packaging. You'll either get one with great packaging and probably love it or get ones of the crappy ones

You get what you pay for

pepulka March 6, 2025

Got it in the shade "Magnetic pull", the pigmentation is much less than on the product images. It also creases very quickly and feels waxy on the eyelids even when not putting much. Oh and the whole product fell out of the plastic casing already in first open, what a let down.

Awful

JackJaya December 13, 2023

I have just received this. I made an order around wanting to try this one product and what a waste of money. It's hard, drags on the skin. Barely any colour deposited. It's like a hard crayola crayon. Awful.
