This came free in my order but I would pay full price. the shimmery metallic shades are pigmented but blend really well, and the neutral shades are perfect for everyday. minimal fallout, love the formulation. definitely up there with high end brands.

I have had a couple of these pallets over the years. I prefer the one that have some shimmer and smoky shades. Here is how I use this to last at least 14 hours. I get up early for work and manage to do this wile half asleep. First, elf eyeshadow primer. Elf has room for improvement with this product but it does the trick. Next, no budge liner on top lid. Then, layer two matte shadow shades on lid up to brow. Then a dark but not darkest shimmer shade high above the crease, in the crease and outer corners (I'm 57 and have to place shadow to work with my aging eyes). Finally i go over the liner with a little brush using the darkest shade and then use that color to line below too. Voila. Stays all day on oily aging eyelids. Takes about 5 minutes or less to put on. At about hour 12, I might have one creased line. I blend it with my finger and im good to go. Why am I telling you all this? In case there are any middle aged ladies considering this product, I want to share my experience. :)

This eyeshadow pallette is great for festivals and parties. The wide range and easy belndability of the formula means you can create many different looks.

These eyeshadows were purchased for a young teen who is learning to use makeup and I think they were especially ideal for that circumstance. The colors are all soft and harmonious and they appear similar on the lid and in the package. They are soft and easy to blend and the glitter is subtle and not too messy. My only dislikes are that the packaging seems kind of flimsy and that there is nothing extra in terms of mirrors or a brush or anything. I know this is an old person observation, but I am bothered by how little care seems to go into packaging these days. I was concerned I would snap it just getting it open, that is not ideal. Otherwise, it seems like a good value for the money, and the flimsiness of the packaging while not ideal does seem to be in line with the cost.

I've just created an eye look with the pastel palette, not bad but no great. The shadows are quite patchy in places and hard to blend; though I don't wear pastels that often so I'm not too bothered. Nice palette to create an interesting look every now and then but quality isn't great.

I heard folks review this product and decided to purchase. The mattes are really fine, which is what the 2 stars are for, but the shimmers are so hard, you cannot get any color out of them at all. Had to scrape the surfact to get the least bit of pigment. Applied, they'r'e too uneven and chunky, making half the palette unuseable. Maybe this is the old packaging folks are complaining about, but when you order online, you don't see what you're really getting.

I received the old version of the summer breeze palette & I emailed and complained as elf is advertising new packaging which is why I bought it I preferred the new one. They are sending me a replacement but instead of leaving it at that they said “ Please note that it was indicated on the product page that the packaging could vary for this product - however we are sending a replacement to you, as you requested.” I don't see this anywhere on the “product page” be more clear with your marketing elf. I am an ICON customer that shops with you often & this left a bad taste in my mouth.
