This mascara proves that you do not need to spend mega money for a good product. I bought the brown as I thought black might be too harsh on my 75-year-old eyes. It did help to curl them and no clumping. I always have a "used clean mascara brush from a previous tube" handy to help comb my mascara if and when my lashed cling together. The clinging often happens with any mascara, expensive or cheaper. I will buy this mascara again as I think it worked well for me. The curved bristle brush helped w/my thinning lashes. (Also: I used a mascara primer prior to applying the ELF mascara) That really helps!

Exactly what I hoped for!! I use it every day and love it! it doesn't irritate my eyes, it stays on all day, even during a bit of rain! It's easy to remove when you want to remove it, but won't just smudge off throughout the day. I'm not a makeup expert, and this is the first mascara I've ever tried, but I think I found THE ONE!!

I'm super picky about mascara as I have very short eyelashes and it is hard to get them to stand out. But this is one of the better mascaras I've used.

I love this mascara. It goes on easy, dose not clump, gives length, and doesn't smudge. The 1st time I wore it, my granddaughter asked me how my eye lashes grew so long.

Overall good mascara. Very intense black which is what I was looking for, and this one certainly holds true! However, it leaves my lashes looking thin.

If you are looking for a light weight on your lashes this might be the mascara for you! I was looking for more bold volume and this missed the mark for me.

I have purchased this item before and liked it this time. It seemed rather dry and flaky, which I've never noticed before. Not sure I will buy it again.

This mascara is not good. I wanted to give it a try seeing all the positive reviews but you could see in real time my eyelashes dropping. Layering isn't an option as it clumps at the base. Just overall really poor quality.
