My favorite clear lip balm has very limited tinted options so I've been looking for a great lip stain to pair with it. I went with Plums Up which is a bit darker than my natural lip color. It's the perfect neutral shade at a fantastic price point.

Do not dab it on your cheeks unless you blend immediately! I put a dab on each of my cheeks and went in to blend, but the spot where I dabbed was stained already! The color is amazing and lasts all day. Perfect for a beachy look :) just make sure to blend as soon as you put it on!

This is such a pretty color on all skin tones, if you don’t like thick lipstick or if you just need like another base before your lipstick or if you just want a tent to your lips in general and then put Chapstick over it. This is absolutely perfect. I promise you once you start using it. You won’t wanna live without it

I support product that was not tested in animal (cruelty free) so for that, I gave ELF 5 stars. for the lip tint itself, I like it coz it was buildable and price wise.

Definitely a stain. I had to apply a bit more on my cheeks but one layer on my lips and applied clear gloss nothing came off on the applicator. Fun bright pink slightly orange undertone. Good for spring/summer.

Got the plum one and attempted to use it as a lipliner stain sort of thing, it was buildable but you had to wait probably more than an hour for it to "set" properly before adding a gloss allover

honestly, this is probably my favorite stain I've ever used. it looks good. The color, cherry cola, is a brown red instead of a pink red. Which if you are, a deep autumn complexion is a huge deal. I was surprised how well it layered over top of the Maybelline BB cream. You don't need a lot. If you've got kind of darker lips, you will want to layer a couple times to get the full color. Plus, it's transfer proof so you're not leaving lip product all over peoples coffee cups and water glasse!!!

Bought the color Plums Up and it's so pretty! I found this does indeed stain the skin and is hard to remove too. I tried different methods of applying it as I don't own the Elf brush that was recommended. Dotting on the cheeks didn't work because the dots can be seen as it quickly dries down and stains. I found that dabbing some of the blush on a beauty blender first then dabbing the beauty blender onto the cheeks worked out really well. It looks very natural and is definitely buildable. Overall it's a good bush tint for the price!
