So far I love it! I built it last night and used it this morning. The packaging could have been a little better as the thing holding all the bolts and washers broke and I had to sift out tiny parts - but all parts ended up being there!!! Took me about 1.5 hours to build (I am not good at building anything) so pretty easy! So far a great value!
Smooth and quiet! Easy to assemble, very nice purchase! I love an elliptical, nice workout while listening to music. My last one was squeaking! This one is so nice and quiet! Very happy with this purchase.
I wasn't sure how great of a workout I could get from a manual machine, so it is what you make it (since it can't challenge you with any rigorous setting beyond changing the tension/resistance dial), but I've been happy after using it for about 5 months, 3-5 times per week, to get me through some crazy schedule changes and a rough winter were I can't run outdoor as often or get to the gym. I usually prefer a treadmill if I can't run outside, but since I live in a second-floor apartment, an elliptical was the only realistic option. It is definitely whisper quiet, even if when I dial up the intensity. I have the resistance dialed up a bit (6) and feel as though I get a comfortable workout in a shorter period of time before work and in the convenience of my home. I will say, I'm about 5'7”/130lbs and think it's a good fit (although I will bump my knee when I'm not paying attention), but can't say it would work as well for someone taller, I'm really not sure but suspect it could be a challenge. Still, for the money it does the trick for my situation. I've even started to see a little bit of sculpting (not hardcore, it's not gym-quality, but still fine for an easy at-home device) and it's held up so far. The timer/odometer/pulse checker is simple but works just fine; nothing complicated, which is fine by me. I don't need an app for everything, much less one more thing collecting and selling my data. Overall better than I expected after consistent use for awhile. I will continue using for the convenience and time-saving way to work a little cardio in without the hassle of the gym or noise that will turn your neighbors against you.
It's my first purchase of a home workout machine, it was very easy to assemble, instructions were simple to read and easy to follow. Everything was numbered. My husband is 6' and was able to get on the machine, now it does wobble a bit but not noisy at all. First time using it, may review after a few weeks. The package was well-packed, and the machine is compact enough to fit in a small space in your home.
The unit itself is well built and, for the most part, easy to assemble. I knew it was compact in size but I didn't realize how compact. I believe this would be perfect for someone who is no taller than 5 feet 5 inches. I'm 5'10" and the stroke/motion of the elliptical feels more like a stair climber. I don't have big feet (only 10 1/2), and my feet just barely fit on the foot pads. The Heart Rate handles are super narrow, and the swinging arms will hit your arms/shoulders if you're not careful.
easy to put together, sturdy materials, small size is nice but this machine has no resistance at all, even on the highest setting there is hardly a difference between 1 and 8. do yourself a favor and get a nice used elliptical off facebook market place. Causing knee pain from having to do so many rotations just to get heart beat up.
The wheel area is way too small and it feels like it's designed for a child and not for an adult. My knees hurt when I try to use it and it is too flimsy. If I had not assembled it, I would have returned it. Now I have an elliptical I cannot use. Would not recommend this item. Sorry.
Before I purchased this machine, I read the reviews on the challenges in assembling it. So when I received it, I expect that it would take me some work to put it together. The video helped. However, after I put it together, my daughter tried on it for a few minutes, and the left nylon nut fell off the shaft. I thought I didn't tighten it properly, so I put it back. Throughout the night, it kept on falling off the machine after my daughter tried multiple times. It turned out that it was a defect. I have reached out to the seller and see if they will send me a replacement nut to see if it fixes the issue. If not, I will definitely return the machine. Let's see how the seller's customer service and after-sale support is.
The digital readout for speed distance odometer and calories just stays at zero because the sensor or something that reads the wheel turning doesn't work. The process for getting this taken care of is very very slow using an email that only gets looked at once a day. Ttheir first response back to me was asking for the Amazon order number just assuming that I bought it from Amazon they didn't even know that Walmart sold them.
I tried so you didn't have to. It may seem worth the price but the machine is very wobbly and feels unsafe to use. I have made sure I assembled it correctly and that everything is tight and it is still very shaky, even though I am well under the max weight limit. Unfortunately this feels like a waste of my money because this seems to be to difficult to return. The distance tracker is also very inaccurate. The only thing good about this was it was relatively easy to assemble.
