I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tablet! The screen is 10.1” which is a good size and it's very clear and bright although the volume isn't as good it is usable. But I like that when one of the guys use it I don't have to worry about them turning it up too loud when using the headphones that comes with it! It has a touch screen as well as a keyboard that plugs into it when using it with the case. It is packed with features like 16GB flash drive,1GB Ram and a microSD card slot. We've surfed the web and played games with no problems at all! I think it is a good value for a entry level tablet!
This is an awesome tablet. It took me a bit to get it set up, due to something I had done wrong. I had it set up, then it crashed, which I think was due to a game I had installed. The game is very resource hungry, and is hard on everything I have it installed on. After that initial experience, I reset it to factory settings, and started fresh. I did get it set back up and installed several different types of apps to test out on it. Two of the apps are tv streaming apps, and it works great for them, on one picture that app is streaming a show called wipeout, and you can see how nice the picture is. It streamed that for me for several hours, and did not buffer at all, it just ran flawlessly. The second picture is a different streaming app, and it is playing a children's movie, and you can see how good the picture is for that. The headphones work great, for being able to pay the movies and not disturb others. I am very impressed in the tablet's ability to stream without buffering, which is a problem I generally have with my regular computer. The tablet comes with a handy cover with a keyboard you can attach and the cover has a brace on it, so you can lean it open and watch your movie, or play games on it, without having to hold it the whole time. This is an impressive tablet. The graphics are much better in person than you can see in the pictures, but even in the pictures, the graphics look very good. The picture really is sharp and clean.
This package has everything I want and need for a 10-inch tablet. The keyboard makes it work more like a laptop when I need to do more typing. And the headphones are great when I have to do online training...and my hearing isn't so good anymore. The set up is simple, though there is a quick start guide to help out. First thing it tells you is to charge it up for 6 hours on the wall plug, but my came with full charge, so off we go!
This tablet package comes in a nicely packaged box. Inside the box you will find the tablet, case with keyboard that plugs into tablet, headphones, charger cord and charger plug. Before using this tablet you will need to charge it for at least 6 hours. I charged for 8 hours for the first time but it still seemed to die within 3 hrs of surfing the web and streaming an audio book. The next time I charged it overnight. That time the tablet lasted all day with still 50% battery left. The tablet fits very snugly into the case. There are plastic clips on the inside of the case that hold the tablet very securely in place. Keyboard folds up over the tablet and it all folds closed with a magnetic flap at the top. I really like the feel of the case and how it holds everything securely in place. The only thing that would of made this case better is some type of stand to hold the tablet upright when you set it down. Keyboard is a little bit different than a typical keyboard so it does take a little bit of time to get used to. It is mostly the same, with the biggest exception being the enter key. Headphones are nice with large cushions, although not as large as a Bluetooth wireless pair with lots of padding. Cord is average size allowing a fair amount of distance between the tablet and headphones. This tablet is easy to use and set up. Logging into a current google account or even setting up from a previous android product is smooth and painless. Great tablet for streaming movies or audio books. Complaints - It's so slow! While I expected slow processing speeds vs. my laptop, time feels like it is dragging by waiting for this to load web pages or apps. When we streamed movies or audio books there was no lag. No Adobe Flash so we were unable to view some web pages and my home schooled children were unable to complete their online math classes via this tablet, which I was bummed about! The sound is very quiet through the speaker on the tablet. Even with the volume turned up all the way it was difficult to hear an audio book. Using the headphones with this tablet we have not had any issues with volume levels being to low though. Overall a great little tablet package that is easy to use.
Ok...if I could give zero stars. That would be my review!! All the goodies that come with the tablet are ok...the headphones, the case with keyboard are all great. The problem is the tablet itsself. I charged it as per instructions. When I wanted to start theset up process the next day...no battery. So I blamed it o n me and charged it again...later that day..wow I have a full charge. So I start the set up process which would've been eaay if you could actually finish it. You are prompted after each segment. Problem is it takes you in a circle or...shuts off...and then you guessed it drains the battery. So I think to myself...you are missing something. I pass the tablet to my techy daughter. She charges it and guess what...she text me the tablet wont set up it takes her in circles and the battery drains...lol. NO NOT PURCHUSE!!
This item has stressed me out more than my One year old does and I've only had it a few hours . It doesn't stay on unless it's on the charger but I can't use my keyboard unless I unplug the charger it's been taking me more than two hours just to set it up now I'm trying to download things it's still turning off unless it's plugged on charger I just wish I never purchased this tablet
THE ABSOLUTELY WORST TABLE IN THE WORLD! WALMART WOULDN'T TAKE IT BACK WHEN MY SON TOOK IT TO THE STORE. So, buyer "BEWARE" because Walmart will not take this Table Back and, it NEVER WORKED! I Purchased this for a Christmas Gift for my Granddaughter and it NEVER WORK, PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was really hoping for better from this Ematic 10 16GB Quad-Core Tablet. It's quite an impressive presentation with the keyboard in the case and the matching headphones that comes in several pretty colors as well as black. It certainly seemed like a great deal. But when I received it and tried to set it up I was so disappointed and frustrated. Every time I attempted to type in my info it would automatically go back to the beginning set up page. It took multiple tries for each line I had to type. After a very long time of trying I was able to get the tablet working with my wifi but I was never able to set up my email or Facebook accounts because it would not let me type my password before going back to the beginning of the set up page. So although I can use the tablet for surfing the web I can't do much else. The display is clear and the colors are good. The headphones are made of a very light weight plastic that feels like they will break very easily. They do however work. The keyboard plugs into the power input. So if you want to charge the tablet while you are using it you have to unplug the keyboard and use the touch screen keyboard. The entire experience with this Ematic 10 16GB Quad-Core tablet has been very frustrating. I would not recommend it.
Do not buy this tablet!!! Right out of the box we had issues. As per instructions, we charged the tablet up and all is good. Give it 10 minutes and the stupid thing keeps shutting off. Turned it back on and the battery went from 100% to 47% in just the time it took to turn on. This tablet is a waste of money.
The Ematic 10 16GB Quad-Core Tablet with Android 7.1 (Nougat) + Keyboard Folio Case and Headphones is nothing like I expected. The camera is only facing the operator, I assume for skype. the image quality is poor. After the initial charging the tablet after being used for 20 or 30 minutes, then left overnight, was totally uncharged. when charged everything is very slow. I spent most of my time waiting for things to load. I am very disappointed in this tablet. I realize it was free, but still not worth it.
