if you want a good snow shovel without the metal edge on the bottom, this is the shovel for you. I have had 4 of these over the years and that is why I found this and ordered it. It holds more snow than the flatter version of same shovel. Just like the shovel. Good luck.
the handle is not a cheap thin hollow tube, it is sturdy. the holes for the 2 screws that attach the handle to the blade were not in a straight line so i had to use my pointed punch to elongate thw hole for the screw to fit. no biggy, screws both nice and tight. has nkt snkwed yef but the bladecis thick a nd sturdy as is the handle and hand grip so there shouls be no problem once tge snow starts
Light weight and does not scratch up concrete. Was able to clear a 2 car driveway in about 15 minutes. This was low price and was able to easily pay for it self by shoveling a neighbors driveway. Lasted 2 winters so far and I'll be replacing it only because the plastic blade does ware down over time.
The shovel does the job. It's a large scooper and not made for the heaviest of wet, heavy snow if you aren't strong, but it has managed everything we've gotten in the Northeast so far! I would not recommend this for someone who is super short or for someone who is older or has some physical limitations, intending to lift. It might be okay for pushing the heavy stuff instead in that case - just because it scoops so much at once. I have been happy with it!
I am older woman that has trouble with my legs and balance, this shovel enables me to push a wide area of snow without lifting. just one swipe gives me a level path to walk.
This shovel works like a charm to push snow and slush out of the way - it truly does "roll" the snow as you push it and makes it go very quickly! It's not great for lifting snow out of the way as it's just too big. The only reason I gave it one less star is because the handle does not come attached and there are no pre-drilled holes in the shaft, so you have to figure out how to drill into a round shaft on your own which is a real pain.
This shovel works great to move a lot of snow faster. Very easy to use and not hard on your back. I work at Walmart and had passed by these on display a few times before I decided and I'm glad I did
This is a long shovel for pushing greater amounts of snow. Product works but is far from perfect. Shovel head is made of cheap plastic-like material. The end of the shovel (head/blade part) has frayed and started to deteriorate with just a few uses. It gets the job done more efficiently than a regular shovel but it is made poorly. There should be a metal guard on end of the shovel to protect the weaker materials the head is made of.
Would you like a shovel that cracks and breaks the first time you use it …with 2 whole inches of light snow?! Well if you do then listen up because this is the shovel for you - it'll snap, it'll crack and the handle will COMPLETELY break off within the first 10 amazing minutes of using this bad boy- you can try to screw in more screws going in and out of your shed 14 times but trust me they built this guy to snap and break no matter what you do - it's an orange and black failure stick with a shovel head that is made from 1980's peanut brittle plastic - so what a frustrating and useless shovel. Don't be like me buy yourself a bunch of plastic soup spoons so you at least know what you're in for when the slightest dusting of snow hits your driveway. Snap, crack, womp womp guess I'll ask to borrow the neighbor's shovel
The item arrived with missing pieces, to be more specific I only received the stick and handle and no shovel in the box. I requested immediately a replacement I was instructed to return the package which I already did, according to the tracking info online, they received the returned package for 5 days and no signs from their part to send me a replacement yet.
