Snow Joe Melt Premium Enviro Blend Ice and Snow Deicer, Pet-Friendly

We got 4 inches of frozen snow in the middle of January. There was no way anyone could shovel out. We were stuck for over a week. I found this stuff on the Walmart app. I have a dog, so I love that this was safe for animals. When it came I put it out on Monday night (Tuesday was supposed to get up in the 60's.) I told the maintenance man what I did on Monday night. He had no problem on Tuesday getting the ice finally off the sidewalks. THANK YOU!

I did not apply it myself, young guys outside used it for pavements and I did give the whole bag over at the door and looks like it melted quickly. Never got any back and don't know if they used every bit, probably did and that's okay so I helped with other's pavements.

The rating is about the product. No issues with the product. I did have an issue with the shipping. I do not know who is at fault but I received emails (images attached) and text messages that my order was shipped. I ordered 6 bags. I assume due to the weight, they were all individual shipments. It turns out that they were not shipped. Eventually I received 1 bag, a day later than specified, and eventually a refund for the remaining. Snow joe says that they never said they were shipped. I sent them the email as proof that someone did. So I don't know if it is the communication between the shipper and Snow Joe or Walmart or someone made a 1 time mistake. In different orders some will say a label was created vs the item was shipped. So when I see "shipped" 4 times in an email, and "it's on its way to you right now!", I assume that it was picked up or dropped off and it is on its way. That was not the case and I don't know who was at fault. The refund was painless and customer service was great too. I just needed the salt before the next storm and with the false information that it was shipped, I did not attempt to go to the store to purchase salt instead. Also I'm out of the cash until the refund but that wasn't an issue for me at this time but could be for someone else. I still would give them another chance. I just had to share to see if this is a rare issue or reoccurring. Thank you for reading this long thing.

Using a lot on the ice and seeing hardly any of it melting. Don't like the big chunks that get dragged into the house and have to clean up. They don't dissolve, just sit there. Will look for a different brand. Won't buy again.

Was wet inside bag which was weird. Also was less than 50 lbs (listed on fedex shipping as 47.something pounds. Very blue %26 the plow guy thought his truck might be leaking with the color the same as his plow fluid (had put some on driveway). Maybe just a bad bag.

NEVER SHIPPED!! From a third party seller that Walmart has so many of. Ordered on Monday, 6 days ahead of the storm.....seller NEVER SHIPPED THE ITEM!! DON'T BUY FROM SPREETAIL!!! Beginning to HATE trying to order from WALMART.

Haven't received it although it was supposed to arrive on 1/23. I believe that this company is claiming products will arrive by a certain date to encourage people to buy them but then not shipping them in a timely fashion.

I honestly can't review the product, because it never got here. It was never even handed off to FedEx! I won't be ordering from this seller again.

We will never use this seller again. Promised two day delivery before bad weather hit but never arrived until way late and box had bag that split open and spilled salt everywhere making a return impossible. Walmart refunded when package seemed lost but then recharged our account when it was finally delivered and of no use since snow and ice has been removed. Never received any delivery updates. Watch out for this third party seller
