This works great. I only took away one star because if you have any sort of issues with your hand or arm that makes it difficult for you to carry/lift heavy things, you might struggle a little bit to apply the product straight from the container itself. I am already planning on ordering a refill for future snow days.

Product is safe and easy to use. Powder forms if you spread it fast from the product. Wash your hands after as with any chemicals you use. Starts to melt snow after a few minute's of use. Melts ice within seven to 10 minutes. It lasts until it starts to freeze again at night then you have to repeat. It does stick to whatever you wear and stepping on it. Some of it doesn't melt. I buy this product each year for three years and nothing is better. The handle and where you pour it is perfect for anyone that has difficulties in holding it.

As an older person living by myself I especially liked that this icy melt had a handle for easy maneuvering and the top opening had just enough spaces for the right amount to come out instead of everything in a big pour. It’s so nice to find things that are handy to use when you live by yourself, especially when you have the cold winners I have living in Western New York.

Living in the South means unpredictable weather in the winter. I live in an apartment complex that doesn't treat our walkways, so I try to buy one of these to keep on hand each winter. They always do the trick! I live on the second story and usually spread it on all over the stairs and I've never had a problem.

this product does exactly what it says. We used it prior to the ice and snow as a pretreatment. Once the ice settled and the sun came out the melt started immediately. The ice was easily broke up and removed. We reapplied the product to make sure refreeze didn't occur as well as using it on a couple of stubborn patches. Would recommend again and again

In a fit of pregnant lady rage I purchased this to take care of a slippery spot that I was assured “didn't exist.” The handle made it very easy to spread on driveway. Application was easy, despite my rage. I only used it on a driveway patch and not on sidewalks. The product appeared to work quickly and didn't leave any notable residue. I didn't slip getting into my car again, laying on the ground in low temps. Would be great to keep in your car or small garage, as then packaging doesn't take up much space and isn't unsightly.

This is the stuff that I look for every year. I ALWAYS make the mistake of either, not buying several/enough, OR not buying it up when its on sale in the spring. I like the container....it makes it easy to shake onto the driveway. Lid snaps tight so it doesn't get all clumpy. If you do get clumps, just shake the container. clumps will go away. Its a definite BUY!!

I expected 2 jugs and only 1 arrived. It says "2 pack", so low stock or not, I paid the price that was listed for 2. I should have gotten 2. I've been debating on how to handle this. I don't appreciate false advertisements under any circumstances. But it's worse during winter with a need to melt ice and snow.

My jug was delivered not full. It appears that some of the salt was taken out of the jug. I highly recommend buying in stores or getting the sealed salt bags to prevent theft. There should be a seal on these jugs! Highly disappointed.

the ice melt that I received, wasn't full, look like somebody use it, before arrived to my house, and didnt have the seal inside, very disappointed . the foto I send show the little red mark, where end thea uce melt and the foto online for the order show full to tge top.
