Earlier this year, I replaced the master bedroom ceiling fan with one that operates via DC motor. Surely enough, the wall control requires an A23 battery. As w precaution, I bought a replacement battery🔋now ($2) instead of waiting later and paying full price ($6). Either way, it's a lot of 💰 for a tiny special 🔋. i trust certain brands only.

Honestly, I had no clue that this size battery even existed. The only reason I discovered it did, is because my fan remote suddenly stopped working. Pulled off the back cover and found this battery installed. Did a Walmart pick up order, the associate found this battery that I never seen before, I brought it home and put it in. Everything works again! Does the job…

The batteries seem pretty good but after purchasing I have found the same batteries for about 25% less at competition, I thought Walmart always had better pricing but I am mistaken.

The "package" included two A23 Energizer batteries; however, the package had obviously been opened before I received it. See photo I took upside down to show the separation of the clear plastic cover which has been stapled down. I don't know if the batteries are "good", "bad" or "marginal" as I have no way to test them. I just feel this is an inappropriate way to send this or, for that matter, any product.
