Energizer Vision LED Lantern Light, Bright 1200 Lumens, USB Port Power Out for Charging Devices, Portable for Camping, Power Outages and Emergency Use

I purchased it for emergencies, so I have not tested the battery life or USB. The light is bright and just what I was looking for. I prefer a light with batteries (that you can replace) and that is one of the main reasons I purchased this one; that and the name brand.

I have several of these Energizer lanterns, and I really like them. They are very bright on the highest setting, but can also be dimmed down to a nightlight type setting, or a "medium" lighting. At their brightest, one can light up a whole small to medium room well. The bonus that really sets these lanterns apart is the embedded USB plug that allows you to charge directly from the lantern. This can be a great help to charge a cell phone during a power outage. I've owned 3 of these over a period of several years. They have been dependable, and the battery life is good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This little thing is AWESOME! We live in a high wind area - aka a ton of power outages. We have many different lanterns and lights for power outages but bought this one recently when we needed more lights for an extended outage. The largest room in our house normally requires at least 3 of our other lanterns to keep it adequately illuminated. We turned on one of these lanterns and it illuminated that same room brighter than the 3 other lanterns combined! It is SO bright with a great battery life

This light is great to have on hand when bad weather causes power outages or emergencies. It's super bright and can charge your phone. It's got three settings (see pics though it's hard to discern between the full light two settings. Sorry, I tried 🙃) and we usually use the lower brightness when our power pops off. It's made of plastic, has a carrying handle and is about 10 inches high. It takes 4 “D” that do NOT come with it. I'm buying another to keep in the car since I'm so happy with the first one.

LOVE this lamp. 2nd year, takes 4 regular D batteries, has 3 light settings, highest is VERY bright. Got my sister one for Xmas, others are impressed at how bright for dark nights, outdoor use; lightweight, easy-to-carry handle or set on a table or nightstand. In CT winters are severe %26 power outages a concern. This lamp is so bright I can read by it without any strain on eyes. It is brighter than any lamp or light in my home. Great value. I have some extra batteries on hand but have not needed to replace them yet.

really bright, has different lighting options, really bright, dim light and an orangish nightlight color. we bought if for the possible power outages we may have with the coming storm this weekend, hopefully we won't need it but if we do, it will be plenty bright! I purchased the 4 ENERGIZER (Dcell) batteries that it recommended, so I can't can't comment on how the battery life is, I just installed the batteries and we haven't used the light except turning it on and off to see what it does , I'm sure it will last a while. I didn't read the full description b4 purchasing so I didn't know about the USB A outlet on it that can charge devices, had I known that I wouldn't have also bought a battery pack for the phones, but yeah it can charge your phone if you have a USB A cable to plug into it. overall for $30 I think it's worth it .it literally lit up the entire downstairs of our apartment. it also stands well, isn't light or cheap feeling, the rubbery part around the bottom makes it grip to the counter good and not just got knocked over easily. I've attached pictures of the light on in all 3 modes as well as an overview of the light itself.

Lantern, night light and phone charger in one. It's excellent for power outages, too! Our power went out for 40 hours and I bought this afterwards because a flashlight or lantern is hard to find in the dark and our cell phones couldn't be charged at home. I will probably buy another soon since there's two of us.

Love this because it's the perfect light to use on my patio at night. It's very bright!!' That's the best part. Besides that you can charge your phone while the lights running.

Nice lantern and very bright. Lite weight but sturdy and built well. Have not owned long enough to comment on battery life. Only complaint is that the light is always double-sided, i.e., the front and the back are always on at the same time. Since the LED bulb is extremely bright when on high (has three brightness settings), if you are holding the light the back side shines right in your eyes and is slightly uncomfortable. So not great for walking to "show the way", or using as a task light. Turning the brightness down one click helps. (Apparently no setting to have only one side light). However if you want to use it to light an area , e.g. a campsite, inside a tent, or a room, the double-sided bright LED light does a good job. Double-sided feature would be very useful if your power goes off and you need to light up a room in your house.

The lamp was a little tough to get to work as there were no instructions included and you have to unscrew the base to get the batteries in . The lamp does not come with the batteries so when you factor in 4 "D" sized batteries this lantern goes up in price.
