actually, I haven't used them yet. the printer is 4.5 years old and I've used about 1/3 of the original ink. I've had other printers and if you didn't print regularly the cartridges would dry up or get clogged. as you can see, i have hardly used this printer and the ink is still good and i still have more in the original bottles. You can buy much less expensive printers and pay a fortune for ink that can dry up if you don't print, but then you have the hassle of running out and ordering more and wait for it to come, or drive to the store to pick it up. The ink isn't messy at all and it's simple to refill the cartridges. You absolutely don't need to purchase cartridges that have black and all of the colors because you fill them each independently.
I've used generic ink before, and it has caused issues with my print heads. I needed Epson ink quickly, and WalMart was perfect…great price and availability!
I love that I only have to refill my printer ink only every couple of years!! I can print anything I want in color and I do not worry about the cost of the ink. The install is easy as the ink tops are shape coded so you can't put the wrong color in the wrong space. I like to use the manufacturer's ink so I am sure it is compatible with the printer. Walmart's delivery was faster than Amazon!! Thanks Walmart.

These inks are sooo easy to refill. No mess. I love the print volume that you get. They are quite a bit more than similar ink that's available but I'm assuming the quality is better.

After speaking with AI on 01/17/2026, I noticed on the back of the Epson 502 Combo Pack of three colors an expiration date of 07/30/2025, %23T502520–RF, 010343935129. Perhaps, some Walmart employees are not taking seriously the ROTATING of incoming new stock. Would appreciate a refund.
