This printer is fantastic for printing reduced-size plans. We are able to print 13 x 19 plans at home. We have two Epson printers. They are affordable and do a great job printing, scanning, and copying. Super easy to use. The only thing I don't like about them is that when the colored ink runs out, they won't let you print in black and white. To avoid downtime and issues, I always have ink refills on hand. Much faster, cheaper, and way more convenient than having to go to a local printing store to have our plans printed out.

The ink that came with it were each dried out. Even though the included ink is only intended to be enough to set up thr printer, not having that ink thus resulted in 1) multiple attempts at getting it set up, and 2) an earlier then expected trip to the store. This was probably the case as the printer had been manufactured several years ago, and thus dried up. However, the manufacturer did not live up to its own advertising. Regarding other aspects, while it takes up a very large "footprint" (even on a large desk), it operates well and handles the ledger size paper it was purchased fot.

The wifi printing seems to drop connection and has to be reset up occasionally.

I received my printer in January 2025. When it is working it prints beautifully. So far though I have had to do multiple head cleaning/alignment tests too often. But the quality of prints for my artwork is what I was hoping for-excellent. Also uses quite a bit of ink.

I bought this product a few months ago and it was fine until the firmware update. After the update, the machine doesn't recognize the ink cartridges. I spent time on the helpdesk line and they told me to try new cartridges. Try? These aren't cheap to just try with hope it fixes the problem.

I miss my simple Canon that always worked, was sparing with ink, and provided great quality and was half the price. This printer has to be RECONFIGURED EVERY SINGLE TIME, setting the country, time and date, and takes forever to print a sheet. It always needs a firmware update or some other issue blocking that one sheet you want to print... IF it even will print a simple black and white sheet without a major ordeal EVERY TIME. It is not as if I don't know how to use a printer. I've been a graphic designer for over 40 years and bar none this is the biggest piece of junk ever and sucks that ink down like no other, I have not even printed 100 regular black and white text only sheets and it wants new ink, although I've been very conservative... no photos, no solid areas, just a bit of text at normal. I have never used the color and it shows it half gone. This is nothing more than a method of selling a LOT of ink so although it's hardly a cheap printer, when you consider it sucks down ink faster than any printer I have EVER OWNED or USED IN A BUISNESS, it becomes VERY EXPENSIVE. Check out the ink levels for less than 100 sheets of text and no use of color EVER. This printer always has issues and will just ruin your day every time you want to print a sheet. Do not get impressed by the larger format. This machine is just AWFUL and takes up more desk real estate than an old school HP Laser Printer with all the bells and whistles. This is the most frustrating piece of machinery I have EVER EVER EVER purchased and I've purchased a HP, Canon and long ago an Epson. I'll never purchase another or recommend an Epson. It also weighs over 50 pounds. This is not the equipment you want if productivity and cost-effectiveness are important.

This printer is way too complicated. It thinks it knows more than the user. I try to scan something smaller than 81/2 x 11 and it looks for the right size paper. I trick it by putting the ID or whatever on the paper so it detects the paper and it says I am out of that size paper - but I am not. All sorts of examples where I just want very basic settings to work not to have to have a PHD in printer options. Wish I had my previous EPSON back

After 2 months, Error Code 000041. I can't see any paper jam anywhere in the unit. Now I can't print, fine. But I can't scan any documents either. This error makes the unit unusable. I have a huge brick on my desk. I opened a support ticket with Epson Support, no answer after 1 week.

Don't buy wast of paper and ink. Every time i turn on my computer it prints one line one a piece of paper so if your want to save paper and trees don't buy this and save some money on ink as well.
