Epson WorkForce WF-2950 All-in-One Wireless Color Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax

Wow, wow, wow... after decades of HP printers, and not happy with the latest purchase of the same... I bought my first Epson. If packaging alone was rated, it'd be off the charts!!! Compared to the crappy non-packaging job on that HP delivery (and returning!), this Epson was battened down like Fort Knox. It was secured like I've never seen before, and greatly appreciated, as it was simple to set up and actually make copies without all the fuss HP seemed to want to drag me into. Some of us don't need all the bells and whistles (though this printer pretty much covers all of that) and just want a printer to... print (copy/scan). Thank you Epson, for taking me off the ledge. I am now a loyal Epson customer, as long as they don't go the route of every other "app" and new customer "account." Follow the directions carefully, and anyone can set this awesome deal of a printer up. Really.

I ❤️ how fast the printer prints the pages. I ❤️ how quiet the printer prints I ❤️ the easy-to-use mobile app I ❤️ the feeder function it saves so much time when you have to print large projects in duplicate or more. The only downside the printer 🖨 is made out of cheap plastic so be careful when handling. In addition, every time you print you have to make sure you pull out the paper tray or your pages will fall on whatever surface is below the tray. Once you get the hang of no automatic paper tray release and manually pulling out the tray yourself for your printed pages to land on you will be 💯 % satisfied.

Securely packed and taped to ensure arrived in good shape. Quick start to install was very easy. Easy wifi connection setup. Was concerned about compatibility with my chromebook. Communicates well with both my chromebook and my Samsung S22 Ultra. Quick printing, unlike my replaced Canon! So far, very happy with my selection. Great making collated copies of multiple pages.

So I bought the printer for work and overall it was fairly inexpensive. Recently I bought some non Epson replacement cartridges and they worked fine. Shortly afterwards an update came out for the printer which I installed and magically the printer no longer recognizes the non Epson ink cartridges and won't let me print or scan anything as long as I have the Non Epson ink cartridge installed.

Epson never again you can take this printer and your ink and shove it. First you killed my very full ink cartridges with a firmware update. Then you sent me this black cartridge that was nearly empty. AVOID EPSON PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS BECAUSE OF THEIR ANTI TRUST BULL CRAP AND LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL!!!

poor setup instructions. maybe it is their way of getting you to buy tech support. Drivers not included. Have been trying all day to get it to print from one of my computers, still no luck. worst user interface possible. My Canon printer was much easier. Very small ink cart. It will be expensive to keep replacing these as they run dry more frequently. When that happens, if I ever get it to work, I'll replace it with another brand. Epson was a good brand in the past. Will not trust them any more.

This isn’t a fake review. I’m a real customer, and I’m telling you the truth: this printer is junk, and Walmart will not stand behind it. I’ve spent thousands at Walmart since moving to this town. I shop there weekly for my household, my kids, my classroom, everything. Any store that sees loyal customers like that should have policies that reflect it. Best Buy does—through their customer rewards program, they give you h90 days because they know life is hectic and they value the people who keep coming back. Walmart? They couldn’t care less. Their 30-day policy is cold, rigid, and unforgiving—even if you’re a loyal customer spending your hard-earned money every week. Now about the Epson Workforce 2950 itself: this thing never worked. Straight out of the box it was useless. I even bought the $28.95 ink, only to watch it spit and smear across the page in crooked zigzags like a bad Snapchat filter. Epson knows these printers have issues—they’ve been selling junk, and I’ve been a loyal Epson buyer in the past. But after this? No more. You’ve lost me for good. Here’s what I’m out:    •   $79 for the printer    •   $28.95 for the ink That’s over $100 wasted—and I work too hard for my money to just throw it away. I bought this printer online on September 9th. Today is September 12th. That’s how close I was, and Walmart still refused to exchange it. Bottom line: The Epson Workforce 2950 is trash, and Walmart hides behind their 30-day policy instead of standing by loyal customers. Don’t buy your electronics here—you’ll end up broke, frustrated, and stuck with junk.

I used this for the first two weeks and once one color is done it’s not allowing me to use other color unless I refill the entire ink which is a hold up for me . Instead of having the option to just switch ink color when one runs out . Instead of having to replace it asap in order to even keep printing

First, I am a loyal and avid user of Epson super tank printers. I have purchased several in the past and have had no problems. This particular printer was purchased in April 2025. In June 2025 it began to give me messages to replace the ink cartridges so I purchased cartridges and refilled but as soon as I would refill it just a few days later it was telling me that the ink was low and needed to be refilled again. This has happened several times, over and over. I have purchased ink to refill several times. The printer is now giving me error messages saying that it doesn’t recognize the Epson ink cartridges that I have placed in it and the error message will not go away even after I turn off the printer and unplug it and turn it on again. The error messages is still there. I have tried several different things to help it work, but to no avail. I am going to attempt to return this printer to Walmart and hopefully have some success with getting my money back. I would not recommend this printer because of the issues that I’ve had with it

This product ongoing issues, like the ink colors poorly defined. So bought more ink since the first one came with it , could have been old. But printed only a few pages before the ink said low ink. Bought more ink this time replaced every cartridge and now printer says doesn’t recognize ink and would not reset or let printer be used. Worthless Product don’t Buy.
