if you call and you need to buy cough medicine this is a product that is as good as delsym. I've been buying it for a long time whenever I need it and I save at least $5 by buying it and not delsym. a lot of store brands are just as good as the expensive store name brands. next time you need cough medicine give it a shot.

The age verification process was ridiculous. The delivery person needed my birthdate, license number, signature, and all the info on the dang card. I get that they want to restrict sales to minors, but I feel this was excessive. The poor guy delivering them had to stand around in the cold while I was desperately fumbling trying to fill out all the info. If I was in store, there’s no way they would’ve verified so deeply for… 1 bottle of cough syrup…. Not even a quantifiable amount for concern.

Dextromethorphan is the best cough medicine there is (in my opinion—it's also the best thing the CIA has ever done) %26 this medicine—a generic of Delsym, admittedly—is the longest lasting, %26 potentially (whether subjectively %26/or objectively) best form of the medicine at one of if not the cheapest price available. It works, exactly the same as the name brand med but less expensive, I have no complaints. I'm in healthcare and always get the generic version of meds. Being able to purchase single ingredient meds instead of the ones that have additional meds mixed into one concoction allows me to administer the specific med I need for my symptoms.

When you especially have bad nighttime coughing this works really well cuz it only has the suppressant and not the expectorant. I did want to be coughing it up all night. I want a good night's sleep, this works better than any other I have used. It has dose that lasts for 12 hours so you don't have to get up during sleep to take some more. If really need lots of sleep even during day, you can two doses in 24 hours.

This is a REAL review, not a bought and paid for review like all the others seem to be. It works well when nothing else would, and lasts a good amount of time. I actually take a lot less than they say so I don't have to get it so often, the availability on this isn't the greatest. The taste is vaguely orangish and not the greatest, but it's also much more palatable than some of the other products I've tried. Also much less of a lingering aftertaste. Highly recommended if you can get it.

It's better when it's cold. So u don't have to put it in the fridge but it helps the throat when it's cold.

I haven't had to buy cough medicine in a long time. I've had a dry hacking cough and this really helped. I was able to sleep without waking up having a coughing spell.

I wish I had checked the package online before ordering. Has 3 dyes, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!, sodium metabisulfate to name a few. Disappointed in the ingredients.

I had been suffering my longest-ever bout with a cough, though doing a zillion healthy things to hurry it away. And I needed my voice for my volunteer work with children. So I decided to cave to an over-the-counter cough suppressant, doing a little research first. This one appeared to fit my type of cough (not dry). I took it as prescribed before bed and had my worst night of coughing ever. I checked with the internet on this, and it suggested that maybe my body absorbed it too fast. I'm 74 with a slowing metabolism, so that suggestion didn't make any sense to me.
