It works great and lasts quite a while. Cheaper than the thermacare brand. I do think thermacare is better, but I'd say comparing dollar to dollar to they are equal products. If you put money aside and judge objectively then thermacare is a bit better. But i still like these and find them to work perfectly fine. They tend to be sold out often at the Walmart nearest to me, so I think others would agree that they do the job just fine.

It works great for pulled and over used muscles. I got it for a pulled muscle in my leg, I couldn't walk without a cold patch and a wrap on it. I bought this heating pad with the massager and it worked wonders for me. Within 2 days I was back to normal.

Use since fell hard onto back onto cement apt floor and better to use underneath cloths for heat even when soft tissue damages are tight wear at night to sleep until healed. Price still is issue for poorest of poor people

I am rarely without a box of these at home. I don't use the belt that comes in box; instead I use the heating pads one at a time. They are the perfect size for everything I need them for. I use them the most for menstrual cramps because I can just stick one inside my underwear and have much needed relief for a large portion of the day.

During my menstrual cycle my back gets very sore very easily. I don't like to take a lot of pain medicine. This helps with that and provides me with relief. The box comes with one band that you reuse with the rest of the pads. It's Velcro so you can adjust where you need it. If the menstrual cramps were worse than the back pain I'd just move the warming pad to the front. The warming pads activate with oxygen, so don't open them until you're ready to use them. They take a few minutes and then they get nice and toasty. Mine stayed warm for the 8 hours of sleep that I needed it to.

When you need these, they are a real life saver if you keep working and living after straining your back!

so these ARE meant to be used for back pain, but i just turned the belt around and used it to heat my abdomen during my period. it doesn't get super hot, and the temperatures are variable and kind of out of your control (since it's a chemical reaction). they do stay hot for most of the day, i would wear them at work and still feel residual heat at the end of the day. it won't provide the deep heating of, say, an electric heating pad, so keep that in mind. i would purchase again just to keep my abdomen warm during that time of the month and preventing myself from feeling chilly and getting cramps.

I purchased this brand because the Thermacare brand was so expensive. I was disappointed. I don't mind reusing the strap that goes around the waist, except it is cheaply constructed. It twists and slides around under my clothes. Thermacare does not do that, as it is made of much better quality. And, it is for one time use. You all should improve the strap. If the strap is a problem, the heat packs are not where they need to be. They provide nice, moist, heat, but last half as long as Thermacare. So, your product is not worth that lesser price. I won't buy them again!!

Bought this to hep with back pain and the wrap does not hold the heating pad in place. Very cheaply made. Should have soent a few more dollars and bought the ThermaCare .

These are horrible. When I opened this, the first one I opened worked but only was warm for about an hour to an hour and a half then the 2 other ones I opened didn't even get warm at all. So I thought maybe I happened to get a defective pack so I made the mistake of buying another pack but to my surprise it was basically like the other pack. They do not get hot at all they hardly even get warm. And they do not stay warm for long either. This is a horrible waste of money.
