I have a need for these regularly and I can't stand to use anything else. They have been true to branding by keeping me from infection . The size is perfect and they can be opened up to make bigger if needed. The absorption isn't for moderate or heavy drainage. For daily cleaning and protection they are perfect and offed peace of mind.
I have used these for years, and I love them, they are great. Great size, and where they are antibacterial they are great for healing, and you can put them in any place on your body , I love my whole family has used them. I have used them for about 10 years and will continue to use them.
This is gross but I tried to keep this as un-gross as possible :) I had an ingrown hair down there become quite infected after squeezing my chubby self into shapewear for an event. Apparently ingrown hairs don't like being squeezed by shapewear, and apparently they get much worse with sweating for hours while in the tight shapewear. When I was removing said shapewear, the then massive, infected ingrown hair burst open, leaking tons of REALLY nasty stuff like I had never seen before and it seemed to never end. It was going to be an embarrassing doctor appointment that I absolutely wanted to avoid at all costs, so I researched what my options were and tried these. Within a couple hours of using them, both wearing as a bandage with medical tape and using to gently clean the wound every few hours, the infection greatly lessened. After a day of usage, the infection entirely cleared up. I slapped a hydrocolloid bandage on the wound after the infection entirely cleared up, and then after 2 days, the wound entirely healed. The antibacterial gauze pads, medical tape, and hydrocolloid bandages (which I already had at home) were far cheaper than a copay and whatever the doctor would've prescribed. Also saved me the embarrassment of trying to show that to a doctor. Plus I didn't even use the entire box during the course of a day while the infection cleared. As I am not a doctor, I don't recommend doing this, but… it worked!
Terrific antibacterial effect, better than the more common type from other brands. Can be unfolded to make an 8 inch by 4 inch gauze. Absorbency is not the absolute best. It does get saturated easily. But the excellent antibacterial effect helps make that less of a problem. Very highly recommended!
I have a wound and I bought these pads to medicate the area then I ordered their gause and they work just as well if not better than the name brand. I highly reccomend them.
This is a great product for wounds with very heavy drainage. Do not use this on lightly draining wounds or it will stick and rip off developing scabs.
Really Great Value, Why do you guys continually run out of the products we need most. If it sells out then obviously you have a great product. STOCK the shelves. Good grief I ordered 4 online and got 1. Seriously guys get it together.
I had a very serious infectionuon my arm that had me in the hospital . It created a large wound and they said it could take almost a year to close up and heal. it's a 1/4 of the size. I think that with my nightly cleaning and wrapping it with that gauze over my wound. worth the price and a quality product.
I pick at my skin, and I prefer the antibacterial Walmart brand gauze to name brand varieties because it absorbs fluid without pulling away the exudate (film that forms over wound) when I change the gauze. (Note: make sure wound is covered with aquaphor, cerave moisture cream, or healing gel). The regular Walmart brand gauze pads also seem to stick more to the wound than this version. The fact the gauze has an antibacterial ingredient is a plus. The squares are large so they're ideal for covering large areas, or being cut up to the size/shape you need.
