my autistic 3 year old wasn't a fan of this cough medicine for the first 2 days but afterwards he took this with no problems and his cough went away within 3-4 days he had a long ongoing cough that lasted about 2 weeks before i tried this medicine

Bought due to Robitussin Honey DM for chest congestion for children being out of stock and there is LITTLE chance of finding anything that is red dye free. It worked. It's dye free. I'm quite happy with that.

I was really hopeful after reading the reviews. I haven't been thrilled with Zarbees brand, so I wanted to give this a shot. Pros: Can give 10 mls to my 4 year old every 4 hours vs only 5 mls 2x a days with Zarbees. Has Vitamin C in it, Zarbees does not. Can give as young as 12 months. Zarbees recommends no younger than 2 years old. Much cheaper. Cons: My daughter very much dislikes the taste. It doesn't calm her cough. I was thinking with it being 10 mls and giving it to her every 4 hours that it would work wonders, but it didn't. I guess the Zarbees brand does work well, and I just didn't realize it until trying this one. It might be worth trying before spending the money on Zarbees, but I honestly don't recommend this one.
