Dextromethorphan is the best cough medicine there is (in my opinion—it's also the best thing the CIA has ever done) %26 this medicine—a generic of Delsym, admittedly—is the longest lasting, %26 potentially (whether subjectively %26/or objectively) best form of the medicine at one of if not the cheapest price available. Would recommend to everyone. 10/10 💯🔥👌😄🤌

if you call and you need to buy cough medicine this is a product that is as good as delsym. I've been buying it for a long time whenever I need it and I save at least $5 by buying it and not delsym. a lot of store brands are just as good as the expensive store name brands. next time you need cough medicine give it a shot.

When you especially have bad nighttime coughing this works really well cuz it only has the suppressant and not the expectorant. I did want to be coughing it up all night. I want a good night's sleep, this works better than any other I have used. It has dose that lasts for 12 hours so you don't have to get up during sleep to take some more. If really need lots of sleep even during day, you can two doses in 24 hours.

I had a wierd flu or something around Xmas and here it is April and the cough was still lingering. I went to doctor after doctor and they kept prescribing me stuff that did nothing. The cough got so severe I though it was something serious. I decided to add this to a delivery order on a whim only to be completely surprised at how effective it turned out to be. After one week of consistant use, my cough has completely disappeared!

Best and bang for your $. You get more of the active ingredient (dextromethorphan HBr) per dollar with this than any other cough medicine. This does not have other ingredients (Like "Tussin" that you might use to loosen phlegm in the lungs. Buy that separately and take only if needed and only the amount you need.) This only deals with cough suppression so you're not taking any additional medicine you don't need like might with most other "cold/cough" meds. Lasts for around 8 hours which is great if you need to get some sleep but can't because of a cough. I did comparison shopping for other products, crunched the numbers and this product came out on top. Also has quite pleasant taste for a liquid cough medicine.

I had been suffering my longest-ever bout with a cough, though doing a zillion healthy things to hurry it away. And I needed my voice for my volunteer work with children. So I decided to cave to an over-the-counter cough suppressant, doing a little research first. This one appeared to fit my type of cough (not dry). I took it as prescribed before bed and had my worst night of coughing ever. I checked with the internet on this, and it suggested that maybe my body absorbed it too fast. I'm 74 with a slowing metabolism, so that suggestion didn't make any sense to me.

This product didn't work at all for me. I have a phlegmy cough and hoped this would help thin the mucus. I coughed just as much if not more after both times trying it. Super bummed!

I gave to my daughter 1 time on December 9th and it worked great. Now tonight I went to gice her a dose as she has a cough that is keeping her up and when I opened it, and I was hit in the face with a very pungent chemical odor, it smelled like turpentine. The bottle I purchased came sealed on December 9th, 2024 and it does not expire until 2/2026. It has been stored in a cool dark place and I cannot explain why it smells the way it does. Be cautious parents, ALWAYS smell medications before you gove them to your child, this could have poisoned my daughter. This is highly unacceptable.
