Equate Cornstarch Baby Powder with Aloe & Vitamin E, 22 oz

I have bought this many times, but this latest bottle is HORRIBLE. It smells just awful and is gritty. I wish I had seen the other reviews about the smell, but why would I look at reviews when it's a product I've used for YEARS. I will be looking for a different brand asap.

This used to be the only powder I liked now they've switched manufacturers and are selling the Dollar General powder with the Walmart label slapped on it. I was excited when I saw they finally put a safety seal on the powder, but I should have known it was too good to be true that they were just improving the safety. When I opened the bottle I noticed that disgusting smell immediately. I will never buy this again unless they switch back to the old product. This one stinks and it's gritty that's why I never purchased it again at Dollar General and I will not purchase it at Walmart either. I'm very disappointed that Walmart switched to this horrible formula now I have to search for another brand.

Walmart has revamped their 100% Cornstarch Baby Powder recently, and IMHO, it's the worst. The Cornstarch Baby Powder used to be soft and silky, now it feels so GRITTY and DIRTY. And the smell is anything but pleasant. Even my hubby commented that it smells like an old MUSTY and MOLDY HOUSE. Their Lavender scented Cornstarch Baby Powder is definitely NOT BETTER. I've been using the regular Cornstarch Baby Powder for years, but now I am now actively looking for another maker or variety of Cornstarch Baby Powder.

Used this for years, but no more! Smells absolutely awful. I can't imagine it was formulated to smell this way, and it'll have you wondering if it's actually safe to use. I'm a long-time fan of Equate products and hope this is isn't reflective of quality control across the Equate brand.

I have used this for years. I opened a new one today.I started to apply it to my body and noticed the texture was very gritty and then the smell hit me. It was absolutely foul. this needs to be investigated for safety because this is used primarily on infants with very delicate skin and immune systems.

I bought this product before, but this time the product came over like it had been in some type of a container, full of mildew. I normally take the powder and dump it into a large container with my other powder when I opened it it had a very funny smell, not realizing that I was about to ruin all of my powder. All of the powder that I had is completely ruined in everywhere where I put the powder you could smell, the mildew smell not to mention it being on my skin. What if this was for a baby? This is a bad batch not only do. I deserve to have my money back. There needs to be some kind of a review and investigation for the batch of these products. I have a mind to take it to a health department somewhere and have it tested. this is pretty bad. Since I dumped it in all my other powder, then I'm most likely won't get my money back because I can't return it. But the container still smells like the mildew like the containers that the powder went in was contaminated or dirty powder will pick up the smell of whatever is in a container.

I had one of the lavender and was offered this as a substitute, which I did approve, but this stuff smells absolutely heinous. I am not one to complain, but this powder smells like mold or mildew! I would be checking to see if this is a defective batch, but I'm definitely not using it, I was going to get a refund, but I'm not driving 30 miles to return a bottle of powder, so therefore it's going in the trashcan. Someone needs to investigate this because this is beyond someone not liking a fragrance!

Do not buy!! It feels gritty and nothing like powder should feel. i checked my empty container vs the new container and GUESS WHAT?? It's not made in the USA anymore but now made in INDIA. It's cheaply produced and there's no way I'd consider using it on myself, let alone a baby's delicate skin!! Oh and the top is defective and i had to use a sharp object to open the holes. BUYER BEWARE!!

This baby powder has been a staple in our household for years. The new formula is awful and now I will be on the hunt for a replacement. The smell is so strong, the texture is not soft and it has irritated our skin. All of the things a powder should not do. I sure hope this isn't being used for babies and children.

The formula has been changed and not for the better. The texture feels like baking soda and the fragrance is very strong and very unpleasant. I have been buying this product for many years and have never been disappointed, but with this change, I will no longer purchase this product. VERY disappointed
