Equate Crystal Glass Nail File or Salon Board with Protective Case for Nail Care

I have been looking for a fingernail file like that for quite some time, and nobody seems to carry them anymore. They all seem to be emery boards or come attached to flimsy nail clippers. It is very convenient to use, and also small enough to fit in a purse or some type of bag that you carry every day.

Really LOVE these Equate Crystal Glass Fingernail File with Protective Case. Over time have maybe bought a dozen or more of them. Used them as stocking stuffers or use as a small gift in a birthday card. Have one in both cars and carry another in my purse. Glass files are the only ones I use. They are kind to your nails %26 so far haven't worn one out . I they seem to be not doing the job just rinse it off and scrub it lightly with an old tooth brush and it will be good as new. Wish WM would make in different colours. The price is GREAT.

I wanted a nail file that my cat could not chew on. Yes, he is weird because he chews up emory files. That's not good for his teeth or stomach either. This file is great because it has a protective cover over the actual file. My nails peel off at the tips. This file lets me gently fix that problem.

Considering the price of this one compared to others, it’s obvious you’re not getting a quality etched file. The sand on this one is sprayed onto smooth glass and after daily use for a few months (on the one I bought) all the sand has been rubber off and I’m now left with a glass weapon… I guess. I don’t know.

The grit is too aggressive and SCRATCHES OFF! Bad quality. This nail file is not etched correctly and is only good for maybe 10 times before it's going to be too annoying rubbing my nail across the smooth glass until hitting the remaining grit sections again.

It was ok at first..but not great and after using it 5 times it’s like trying to file with a buffer. My nails filed down the glass, and I have very weak nails. That’s saying something. I am sad this was so bad. I rarely write reviews, but people need to know not to get this!

Don’t waste your money, just order real glass files on Amazon. Or, go the emery board route if you must purchase at Wal Mart. I have only filed four nails on my left hand. There are already completely bare spots on the file. It is not an etched file. There is just grit adhered to a piece of glass. The grit quality is also sub par. Trash.

I've had glass nail files before and this one is trash. I purchased it on 12/22/23 and during the first use on my natural nails, there are streaks of clear smooth glass showing through the filing material. This is a poorly made product and should be removed from shelves.

ive never had a GLASS file have the roughness come off. it heckin comes off with use. any one i had before was etched into the glass. this is just glued on or somethin like a paper board file. idk whats used so it files the nail but jeeze. greatly regret buying this. even filing plain nail itrubsoff

This is NOT an etched glass nail file. A chemically etched file does not wear down over time, unlike a traditional file. Traditional files (which this is, albeit made from glass) have grit adhered to them, which comes off over time. Don’t fall for it, unless you just want a remarkably fragile and short lived nail tool.
