Pick itself measures a total of 1 7/8" long Handle - 1/4" wide Bristles - 5/8" long Pick is flexible and does bend, but does not break during use. I was super surprised at how they really do get gently in between teeth. To me, they are not like a dental floss that you can glide up and down your teeth. Super soft bristles with an easy to hold flattened end handle. These are a soft pick that, I found, easily inserts and moves back and forth at the gum line area. Some of my lower teeth are super close to one another - this pick totally surprised me in how it pain free and effortlessly inserted in the super tight areas. I didn't have to worry about getting floss stuck. I was even able to get to my wisdom teeth without feeling like half of my hand was inside my mouth. The pick bristles seem to be made from a soft rubber. Comes with a clear, plastic carrying case that can hold up to 20 picks for discrete, clean storing. Individually, I can easily carry a few picks in my wallet. I compared GUM Soft-Picks to Equate's Ease Between Super Soft Interdental Picks and found no difference in size or effectiveness. The back of the package includes a satisfaction guarantee to replace it or give money back. I bet my mother-in-law, who wears partial dentures, would love these. My kids would have really used them when they wore braces. Love the ease of use and effectiveness of Equate's Ease Between Super Soft Interdental Picks!
This Equate EaseBetween Super Soft Interdental Picks is handy to use after meals. Compared to wooden toothpicks, which obviously have no give and also being a hazard, these super soft picks are bendable and do not hurt gums surprisingly as it is rubbery. In the past using wooden toothpicks, there were many times I would inadvertently poke gums feeling the sharp pointy wooden toothpick which led to using them less often. There are no worries with these soft rubbery picks that have very soft bristles, which I'll be using more often. Loosening and removing food debris lodged in and around teeth with these firm rubbery picks is pain-free. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the holding portion of pick is flat and comfortable to use. The length is similar to the average wooden toothpick. In this pack there are 50 picks total. Also included is a clear plastic travel case that holds about 20 picks to keep it sanitary clean for future use while on the go. Overall, it's inexpensive, pain-free and easy to use. In addition to regular brushing, it's another dental tool to keep teeth and gums clean and healthy after meals. Highly recommend these over traditional tooth picks.
I've tried the ones that look like miniature tube brushes: twisted metal spine with plastic filaments sticking out. They work, but the tip of the wire can jab into gums. These are more comfortable. I have some crowns, and those don't extend down into the gums. Food gets stuck in the crevice between the crown and the gum, and flosser picks won't work there. Picks also won't get all the food out between the teeth. These work to get out those stubborn particles between my teeth and between crowns and gums until I can get back home to use the water flosser for a far superior clean.
The Equate Interdental Picks are a great little disposable tool to help keep your teeth clean after eating. These picks came in a quantity of 50 and there was a small travel case included that holds ten picks. Each pick is about 2.25" long and the tips are coated with a soft, flexible, rubber with little nubs on it that help clean the spaces between your teeth. The tips are fine enough to fit between all of my teeth. If you press too hard with the picks trying to get them into tight spaces the tips can bend a bit and then they're hard to fit back in. They seem to work best when used gently and with the least amount of pressure possible. I wouldn't recommend just jamming them between your teeth and sawing back and forth. That might be uncomfortable feeling. But gently placing the tip along the bottom of you gum and working the tip into the space using a rocking or circular motion works very well. Once the tip comes out the other side you can gently slide it back and forth. These also work very well for getting popcorn kernels out from around you gum-line. I definitely think these picks are helping to keep my gums healthier feeling and will continue using them on a daily basis.
I find these dental picks to be excellent in removing particles from between teeth. They are super soft and easy to handle - gentle on between teeth removal. There are little soft flexible rubber bristles that effectively remove food and plaque hidden between teeth. Package states safe to use with orthodontic bridges, crowns or implants. Very convenient plastic carrying case for in your pocket, purse or car. These are the best picks, as I have tried others and I prefer the Equate as they are comfortable to hold and use even for hard to reach areas. For between brushing, these picks are very gentle to my teeth and gums. I highly recommend.
This pack contains 50 single use picks and a small carrying case. These interdental picks are great for work or travel when you don't want to pull out the dental floss. The picks slide in between the teeth, cleaning out any food or debris. The soft plastic ribs feel good on the gums. These picks are especially good for cleaning teeth with recessed gums.
I received these Equate EaseBetween Super Soft Interdental Picks with Travel Case, 50 Count, as a Walmart Spark Reviewer. I have been using the Interdental picks that look like tiny skinny brushes. They did the job, but often times I would end up with gum irritation from the bristles. The Equate interdental picks do not have bristles, they have a soft, rubbery type of tip that has rings of this rubbery stuff along the pick part. I liked them much better than the other name brand interdental picks I have been using. They are more gentle and seem to do a better job of cleaning in between my teeth.
Product received free in exchange for honest and unbiased review. These are handy little toothpicks to have around, especially if you eat out and just want to keep your teeth feeling fresh and free from accumulated food particles between your teeth. I have gaps in my tooth (one in particular) that seems to be a magnet for trapped food particles. These little plastic picks are made of a flexible and soft material that enables it to get between the teeth to dislodge the food particles. They come in a plastic carrying case that is practical for when traveling and also has additional picks included to replenish the used picks. The replacement picks are also joined together so they don't get separated and you don't have to pick up several pieces at once. They are easily separated as well. Good, useful product and I'm looking forward to having food particle free teeth once again.
These dental sticks are very soft and flexible. The end does have a slight point and can nick gums if you aren't gentle and go slow. They slide between teeth very easily and the little bristles get all the food out. The case fits perfectly in a little pocket inside a purse.
I use plastic toothpicks and other brands of picks often. The Equate Interdental picks were OK but a bit too soft to get into the spaces without bending. I appreciate easing the pick into the spaces but it was too much work and other brands and types do the job without needing to think about how to insert them.
