Equate Everyday Clean Nourishing Dandruff Shampoo, 28.2 fl oz, Compare to Head & Shoulders Active Ingredient

Shampoos are so dang wxpensive these days, but what isn't? This is a nice alternative to the brand name dandruff shampoo and I think it does equal the cleansing. My husband thinks his hair is super dry, but our “Over 60” hair is dry anyway. Competitively priced. Hoping it's cruelty-free.

me and my husband only use the shampoo. and we use mane and tail conditioner to go with it. the shampoo takes complete care of your dandruff. I haven't had a problem with dandruff in years because of this shampoo. it smells pleasant, it lathers up in your hair all nice and bubbly. it's a good shampoo

Helps with dandruff control. Helps itchy scalp too. We have been buying for years and is very comparable to the name brand just without the cost. Lasts us quite awhile. Love the pump on the bottle. Makes it so much easier to dispense especially with wet hands.

I loved this shampoo but I’m guessing they changed the formula, this new formula makes my hair feel stiff after.

I've used this shampoo for years, but the last bottle I purchased a couple of weeks ago is different. Something has changed. My hair does not feel clean after using it. It leaves a residue on my hair no matter how much I rinse. Sadly won't be purchasing this shampoo anymore.

Something has absolutely changed with this formula... It went from being to the only one that my scalp could tolerate (FOR YEARS), at an affordable price, to now leaving my fine-hair stiff, EXTREMELY waxy, difficult to brush through %26 no longer looks clean when dried- I can't even wear my hair down right now... I've also gone as far as shampooing TWICE and extending my rinse period to no avail.

This has to be a different formula from my last bottle. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling like it has a residue. I hate it. My last bottle of this left my hair feeling light and clean. I'm disappointed. I already had to throw away a large bottle of Equate 2 in 1 anti dandruff shampoo for the same reason. I thought getting the shampoo only version would solve the residue problem, but it's pretty much the exact same. I honestly think this formula and the Equate 2 in 1 formula are the exact same shampoo.

Please Walmart go back to the old formula for the big bottle! This used to be my favorite shampoo and I used to buy the big bottle all the time, but they have changed the formula for the big bottle. This new formula leaves my hair and hands with white residue. This new formula is watery and the bottle cap itself in the shower it’s slippery on the hand. The old shampoo bottle cap was better because it was flat, now it’s looking down which if the bottle gets wet when showering your hand slips. By the way the medium size still carries the old formula which I appreciate, but please Walmart don’t change the formula for the medium size. Otherwise I would have to change to another brand thank you. Please consider going back to the old formula for the big bottle as I have started to buy another brand to replace the equate dandruff big bottle shampoo.

I read the reviews where people said the formula changed and it made their hair kind of sticky and gross. I didn't want to believe that so I bought another bottle. it's been a while since I bought my last bottle. the rumors were true it is terrible. I really liked it before it was changed, but now definitely not at all. for me it left my hair feeling greasy and just pretty nasty.

Shampoo doesn’t rinse out of hair. Leaves hair sticky and not clean. Even though this is a low cost, I will not purchase this again.
