It works. Ya buy this for effect!

Bruce January 9, 2026

Nobody buys these energy shots for taste, it's what, an ounce, they take it for effect. AND THESE WORK ! What else can you say? Equate is concidered a generic for some reason, the price is less than comperable designer so called name brands with the fancy packaging, maybe why the others are higher priced.

Better than 5hr

nathan April 11, 2025

Equate Extra Strength Energy Dietary Supplement (6 pack, 2 fl oz each, ~$10 at Walmart) is a budget-conscious alternative to pricier energy shots like 5-Hour Energy. Each sugar-free bottle packs 230mg of caffeine—roughly a cup of coffee—plus B6, B12, and niacin for a quick boost. The grape flavor is sweet and tangy, though some find it artificial or overly strong compared to berry variants. Users appreciate the steady energy lift without jitters, ideal for long workdays or pre-workout focus. Walmart reviews note it kicks in fast, lasting 4-5 hours, but it lacks the punch of premium brands, sometimes requiring a full bottle for effect. The 6-pack is portable, fitting easily in bags, but packaging issues—like broken seals or missing bottles—have been reported with delivery. It's not for kids, pregnant individuals, or those sensitive to caffeine, as niacin flush (temporary redness) can occur. For the price, it's a solid pick for cost-savvy consumers needing a reliable pick-me-up. Shake well, sip slowly, and check for allergens (soy traces possible). A dependable, no-frills energy shot—just inspect the pack on arrival.

Definitely a boost of energy, Not a fan of the large energy drinks so a few sips of this helps, The Walmart brand is just as good if not better at a fraction of the cost

Better than name brand

mary January 5, 2025

My husband is a truck driver. He tries to stay healthy. He needs that boost driving all day. Energy drinks aren't healthy. He prefers these shots and they work! He prefers this brand to 5 hour.

Cheap in price and good as the 5 hour energy. A little more syrup tasting but doable

it is the closest equivalent to 5hr energy shots there is. but when you order and pay for a 6 pack, thats what you expect to recieve. instead i received an open box with 2 shots missing.

The flavor is bad. Tastes like childrens cold meds

Sally May 4, 2026

The flavor is bad. Tastes like childrens cold medicine in a bad way. I am not picky, I can tolerate just about anything especially when it takes a couple seconds to drink. It tastes so bad that if it was the only caffeine source I might be able to cure my addiction. Lol The effectiveness is not remarkable. Going back to the usual, until I cant afford it. Its so bad I dread having to use up the rest. Lol

Daun January 31, 2026

Just bought the eternal energy from wal-mart two weeks ago for half the price. Just bought the extra strength double the price today and they're both the same ingredients and percentages.. I understand prices going up but seriously wal-mart close to double.. guess I'll be shopping around.

Expired at time of delivery

Kyle December 27, 2025

Ordered for delivery. Tried it same day received and it tasted horrible. I checked the bottom of the bottle and it was expired. Failed attempt to find a less expensive option than 5 hour.
