Used this test 4 years ago with my first pregnancy, and again just recently. I thought since it was so inexpensive that I would try it out early (I tested 5 days before missed period) and it was positive! Very, very faint, but positive. Then I used a special early response one and got another positive the next day. Not only is it effective, but it was just as effective as the early detection test!
Love these test! I had been trying for years and I had a funny feeling last year - took this test 2 days after I missed my period ( which with my hormonal issues at the time I could go 14-60 days no period, monthly test = negative.) Dollar tree brand June 12, 2019 @ 6:58am within 30 seconds positive results that last 3 minutes and up !
These Equate Pregnancy Tests are just as good as any higher priced test out there. It’s what I used when I found out I was pregnant with my son 6 1/2 years ago and it’s what I used when we had suspected pregnancy earlier this month (but wasn’t). Whatever result you are looking for, this test is reliable enough to find out
I had no expectations of these. Honestly they were cheap so I grabbed them along with an expensive name brand that claims to be able to detect the pregnancy hormone 6 days before your expected period just to do an experiment. I kid you not- these .88 cent ones picked up my positive SOONER than the expensive name brand! And it was a true positive, not an evap line, because I’d been testing for a few days prior to getting a positive and there is no line when it’s negative. Now some of the tests do end up with weird dye runs but they’re SO cheap, but a few more than you expect to need and you’re golden. Seriously save yourself the money! I will be recommending these to all my mom friends and if I ever need pregnancy tests again, I will be using this brand.
These work way better than first response or clear blue easy. All blue dye tests are crap anyway but I expected more from a high priced test like First Response. I have never gotten an indent or evap line on these 88 cent tests. All are clearly negative or positive in the time frame given. I've tested positive at 8dpo ( I was charting, temping, testing, and ttc for a year) with this test. It was at night not fmu also. I say go with these first, when you get a line then spend money confirming on another more expensive test, like a blood test cause chances are this test isn't wrong.
They work as well if not BETTER than the expensive test. I wouldnt even read on the expensive ones but these picked up immediately. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks with these (a day before my period). The line was bold and Ive never had a problem with them.
These are great! Took two of them 11 dpo and both showed a faint positive! Took a First Response the same day to confirm after reading about women getting false positives but the FR was also positive! Definitely recommend!
Got a positive a faint 9DPO! Just to be sure I took “more expensive” test’s. I also took another one of these a week and half later and it was a darker positive.
I took a test a few nights ago and it was negative after about 2-3 minutes. I went to look a few hours later and I saw a faint positive. I figured it was an evap line but it did have some red dye in the line. I tested in the morning with first response and I got an immediate positive! I then retested with the wal-mart test and got a faint line after 3-4 minutes this time! It then continued to get darker over the next 5-10 minutes. Because of that, I would almost recommend waiting until right before the 10-minute deadline (even though it says 3-4 minutes) to read the test. I would have completely missed it if I didn't go back to look the first night!
I'm all about saving money, I'm not "gucci" in the slightest- always bargain hunting and getting thrilled by good sales. I love this brand, I save a lot of money with them. In this case- NO! I bought 20 of these tests. Negative, negative, negative... I decided to take a different branded test because I was having symptoms- positive! But these ones still registered as negative. The other brands were giving me clear positive results. At the best, these gave me a very faint line- after letting it sit beyond the recommended time- and sometimes you can see it if you turn it the right way in the light- and then take another and you won't see squat. They're unreliable and hit
