What a Great Toothbrush for Kids!

MOMx4 October 2, 2018

I have 5 children so when it comes to purchasing toothbrushes I always go the cheap route and by the standard inexpensive toothbrushes because it's best for my budget just to go that route. After I was told by my son's dentist that he needed to get an electric toothbrush that would help him get the plaque off of his teeth better, I decided to go with this one because it has interchangeable brush heads. Brand name electric toothbrushes similar to these cost around $50 and that's not what I'm comfortable with spending. Plus, the disposable toothbrushes cost $6 - $8 and the kids only use them for a maximum of a month or so, that's $30 - $40+ a month on toothbrushes for my kids.. no thank you! These are inexpensive and I love the fact that it has brush heads that you can change out. With the Winter time approaching, my children frequently come home with a cold, cough, or they just chew on their brush heads like gerbals - so I am extremely happy that I have the option just a pop a new brush head on there and keep a stockpile of them at home without going to purchase new ones every time someone gets sick or has "chew fest 2018" on their brushes. Anyway, the toothbrush itself seems to work very well on everyone's teeth and has a decent amount of power but isn't too strong to where it causes discomfort or their gums to bleed. I'm absolutely in love with these toothbrushes - their quality and durability are phenomenal and I'm happy that I don't have to spend $40+ a month on toothbrushes that I just throw in the trash. Its budget friendly enough for you to give it a try for yourself and see if it works for your family.

works good

denosbaby October 2, 2018

At first my grandson was not sure about this Equate Easy Flex Power Toothbrush but he really likes it now. I think the purple replacement head is what he did not like but he likes the toothbrush. He actually does not give me problems when I tell him to go brunch his teeth now. He will even brush them without me telling him to which is awesome. It cleans his teeth really good too. I also like that I can just buy replacement heads instead of having to buy a whole new toothbrush. I would recommend tthis Equate Easy Flex Power Toothbrush to all parents with kids of all ages.

Nice upgrade from regular toothbrush

Takoyakiplease November 29, 2018

The Equate Kids EasyFlex Total Power Toothbrush has been a huge hit with our child especially because it was green. He was initially hesitant because of the noise from the motor, but he warmed up to it once he tried a few times. It is far easier to use than a traditional toothbrush because we no longer need to scrub back and forth as much. Our dentist recommended gently pushing the brush head against the tooth for a couple seconds and then moving on to the next teeth. It is very easy to change the brush heads and the batteries. The batteries last for a long time so that is a huge plus. It also comes with two brush heads. We are still on the first one even after months of use. This was more comfortable for our son because he didn't have to keep his mouth open as long. I do wish that the toothbrush was smaller. It is hard for him to to use because of how long it is. Adults would not have a problem with it. It would be a bonus if there was a two minute timer on it so that we know that we have brushed long enough.

Powerful electric toothbrush

desi3e September 27, 2018

My daughter likes this electric toothbrush. It's powerful and cleans teeth very well. However my daughter is 17. I don't recommend this toothbrush for toddlers, older children yes. The brisel is the same size as my electric toothbrush. And just as powerful. My daughter said her teeth feels cleaner. It it a try for older children.

Great for kids first brush

CaliCutie September 27, 2018

This is a great first electric toothbrush for a kid. For under ten dollars you get the toothbrush that runs off two AA batteries as well as two brush heads to start. The bristles are soft so they won't hesitate to use it or have any discomfort especially during that awkward phase when they are losing baby teeth. The brush heads have the bristles that change color when it's time to replace them so even your child will know when it has to be replaced. The fact it's battery operated means convenience for your child at sleep overs, family vacations and never forgetting the charger behind.

Great toothbrush for kids

tkbgraphics September 25, 2018

My 12-year-old recently got braces and they recommended she use an electric toothbrush to keep them clean, so we decided to give this one a try and she loves it. Says she likes the smaller, round brush head, easy to reach all of her teeth and in between her braces. The bristles are very soft and more comfortable than other stiffer toothbrushes she's used. The on/off button is easy to operate, and she thinks it's cool that the bristles will turn white when the brush head needs replacing.

Works great for little mouths!

justmissash September 23, 2018

I have 2 daughters ages 3 and 7 who aren't the best at brushing their teeth. So for them I like this Equate Kids EasyFlex Total Power Toothbrush with 2 Replacement Brush Heads. I know the replacement head is for replacing, but I actually gave each of my daughters one of the heads and they share this. We just switch out the heads for each of them. My 3 year old got the purple head and my 7 year old uses the green head. I like it because it's easy for them to hold and switch out the heads. The head itself is small enough for their little mouths and is not too powerful to be uncomfortable. It vibrates a bit but spins really well to give their teeth a good cleaning all around. The bristles are soft on their mouths so it doesn't hurt their gums which is great. They like this toothbrush and now think it is fun to use so I am having less time fighting them to brush their teeth. Now they just fight over who gets to do it first. I definitely recommend to parents because brushing teeth is important and this toothbrush works great especially when kids are first learning how because it does most of the work for them. As I said above, we use both heads now for each of my daughters but you can use one now and the other when it needs to be replaced. I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the experience and opinions are my own.

Great Toothbrush

cccppp3 October 15, 2018

This toothbrush works great. It does a great job cleaning my toddler's teeth and he loves using it. The heads are easy to replace and have an indicator to show when they need to be replaced. The batteries are replaceable and easy to find. It just takes 2 AA batteries.

Good toothbrush

Lakehouse September 22, 2018

Toothbrush comes with batteries and an extra brush head. Bristles are soft and the head is small for a child's mouth. The movement of the head is very fast. It may irritate gums if left on them for too long. Turning on the brush is easy enough for a child. The head removes very easily to change it out. The toothbrush is a bit heavy. The cover to remove the batteries is extremely hard to remove. Batteries go in easily and the outside tells you how to insert them correctly. It is easy to read. All in all this toothbrush would be good for an older child. I would not let someone under 6 use it.

Cute colors

MavsMom1 October 1, 2018

My daughter loves this toothbrush. She brushed her teeth immediately after it arrived. It's a bit noisy but she doesnt seem to mind at all. If it holds up to the wear and tear of an 8 year old I will purchase replacement brushes. I like that it did come with an extra replacement.
