If you use Pepcid AC, these are VERY cheap and the very same stuff. Very effective at reducing stomach acid but these caveats apply: - it takes an hour to start working (so sugar free tums are a good companion product) - recommended that you take no more than 2 pills per day I take these according to directions (though usually only after feeling acid stomach) and it seems to help my acid stomach better than most other solutions. I also use sugar free Tums and Pepto Bismol pills, so these Famotidine do not solve all of my stomach problems - but they are often effective when other medicines are not.

I take these every day. They're hard to find in large quantities where I now live. I was thrilled to find 200 for $9.98 at Walmart.com. You need to give them more than a week lead time, though. After giving me a tentative due date that worked for me, they came back and said it was back-ordered, so it took about two weeks to arrive. I know I can trust medication I get from Wal*Mart, and I will be buying them online from now on.

In the store, I can buy 50 tablets for $4.00 - and on-line I can buy 200 tablets for under $9.00. Life is good! These tablets work - without inter-acting with anything else I am taking. Very exciting.

It can be hard to find Famotidine given that Ranitidine is no longer available, so I was pleased that this generic was in stock at Walmart. This is much cheaper than buying Pepcid AC, which is the non-generic version of Famotidine. Walmart, as usual, delivered the right product on time.

Its the only stuff I take any more. Sad to see they banned Ranitidine, but this is about as close of an equivalent as you're going to find. At most I take 2 a day and that's if I eat way too much. It works pretty quick, maybe a half hour or less and lasts for at least 12 hours

It works. Prevents heartburn. I switched to this after Zantac was pulled. This is cheaper and works just as good. Wished I had been using this all along.

This product really works!!!! I was a little worried that it wasn't going to be strong enough for my acid reflux, but it amazes me that it is very good. I works as good as those high dollar antacid pills do. I highly recommend it for anyone who suffers from heartburn.

At my regular retailer where I purchase this product, the price has doubled lately. Walmart's price was more than reasonable. It's still not as good as ranitidine, but it was taken off the market. This product is the next best thing for acid reflux and recommended by my doctor.
