Not a bad option, definitely does what it says. It is Famotidine Tablets, 20 mg which is generic Pepcid. I did however find it cheaper at another retailer afterwards, in a larger quantity, and ended up ordering from there for future purchases so perhaps just shop around for the best price if you're looking for the best value. As far as the quality of the product, it definitely works and provides relief just as well as name brand Pepcid AC! Take it with a glass of water and you'll be feeling better in no time.
My acid reflux is horrible. Sometimes it keeps me awake and I can't lie down. The Equate brand is a life saver! One pill helps and it's gone. Famotidine is the only thing that works for me. Equate brand is affordable and the same as the big brand names.
I have pretty bad acid reflux, and used to have a prescription for ranitidine for it, but once that medication was no longer available, I tried this. It does the job. I don't take it always.. Sometimes I stop for a week or two, then start again when the heartburn comes back. That's how I know it's working.
These are the best for indigestion which I use often! Seems I can't eat some foods like I used to in my younger days! They sure do help with acid reflux and definitely if I eat late I take these before bedtime where I don't wake up with that awful indigestion in my mouth or sour stomach! Just as good as name brands but a lot cheaper!
Discoveried these mint one while reading reciews so i decided to try. I favoe them over the chalky white ones (they work, too!) They seem to work faster for my heart burn than the others, even better than scripts. I'm gonna get anothet bottle so I dont run out.
Equate Max Strength Famotidine 20 mg tablets work as well as the name brand product, but at a lower cost. Please note, it's better to purchase the higher tablet bottle size (price-wise) than the 50 or less ones. They were out of stock on the larger sizes, so I purchased the 50 count size. Tablets are small and easy to swallow and they provide fairly quick relief for heartburn, although taking before eating a heartburn inducing meal would be better.
For some reason, the rx version feels like it works better even though it has essentially the same ingredients so we just buy this because the Pepcid ac gets expensive and this is adequate.
I usually use Omeprazole but I saw this and it claimed to be able to relieve my acid reflux. I chose it because it was cheaper. However; it didn't help at all and I had to break down and spend more money for the Omeprazole anyway so I'm the long run it cost me more money. It may be ok for someone who doesn't have chronic acid reflux but it just didn't help me.
THIS IS A LAST MINUTE REPLACEMENT WITH A GENERIC MEDICATION. WALMART TARGET WALGREENS VERSIONS WERE PULLED IN 2019 FOLLOWING THE FDA ALERT......DR. REDDY'S LABS. (INDIA). HAS BEEN CITED IN THE PAST. GOING BACK 5 PLUS YEARS AGO..........NOT JUST FOR THIS DRUG: CARCINOGEN NDMA (N-NITROSDIMETHYLAMINE) FOUND IN HIGH LEVELS. I DID NOT APPROVE THIS. I APPROVED SUBSTITUTION FOR THE ORANGES AND 2 OF THE KOMBUCHA BEVERAGES.........NOT THE MEDICATION.
Well this item THAT I PAID FOR was not in my bag when I received my groceries and yes I contacted customer service which is of course a bot. They expect me to return the item THAT I DIDN'T RECEIVE for a refund!! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
