Just as good as name brand
Taking this gave me the only 4 hours of relief I've had in days/weeks. It lasted the full amount of time and when I had to take more it was in my system quick!

It is a good value. It fits the needs for our family. Packaged to be safe but easy enough for us to use. Good for our coughs and sinus congestion.

I think the medication works extremely well to break up very thick mucus and phlegm. I did get a mild headache from using it.

Overall, ineffective relief for condition. Got an alternative mucus med, via Equate. That one worked so muc h better. *The syrup variety just didn't cover what I was going thru.

Does nothing
I started taking at first sign of post nasal drip. i had no cough, my sole purpose was to keep from getting chest congestion. I only had a litrle phlegm settling in. This did absolutely nothing to loosen the little phlegm.

The seal on the mouth of the Equate Mucus Relief is leaky. The syrup leaked over the bottle and you can tell it leaks. I did not remove it and can send you pictures. I need a Replacement today!!

I received this instead of MUCINEX DM, which is what my dr WANTS me to take and was never asked about a substitute!
