Equate Nutritional Shake Diabetic Care, Strawberry, 8 fl oz, 24 Count

These are a staple in my husband's diet. Especially in the summer when he's in the go. He's diabetic and doesn't eat right. I get tired of fighting it. When he skips meals and needs some fast protein this takes care of him. It also takes care of his sweet tooth.

I've been buying the every flavor of the Equate Shakes for Diabetics for years, even before I needed to be concerned about my A1C and Glucose Levels. They make life easier a lot easier for me because I used to get faint from low blood sugar, but I haven't had any problems with that ever since I started drinking these. I prefer them cold, but I'll grab one to shake and drink whatever the temperature is. These Shakes travel well and store well. We get iced in so stocking up for winter is easy. I personally like all the flavors, but my diabetic Mom's favorite is the strawberry. And as long as she's drinking two shakes a day her doctors are happy. Her younger brother loves the higher calorie Equate Nutritional Shakes without any worries about diabetes.

I buy these shakes regularly, and the strawberry is my favorite because it has the best flavor. I also like the vanilla when I can't get strawberry, but the chocolate is too chocolatey for my taste. The shakes make a nice meal replacement or snack when I need one.

Number 1 - it tastes great. But more important is that one of my doctors has my A1c on a steady 7.2 and moving down. The diet her staff put together included the diabetic Equate and I love the results and actually look forward to my morning bottle.

My mom and I are type 2 diabetics. We drink 1 in the am early around 7-730 ish. We are usually full until brunch time 11-2:30pm. Tastes like strawberry.

I like all three flavors that are offered. however it would be really nice to have a 24 pack that has eight of each flavor. chocolate, vanilla, strawberry.

I take a lot of vitamins and supplements due to my lupus. I use this to take them in the morning so they won't upset my stomach, and to take one particularly nasty tasting liquid medicine at night. It's not quite as good as the name brand, but it's not bad at all, and I'll keep using it.

Would be better if it came in a larger container and could be poured into washable/reusable glasses instead of having so much plastic to throw away EVERY time you drink 8 ounces (dailyish).

The diabetic care nutritional shakes say "Easy Open" on the packaging, however they are more difficult to open than the regular shakes. I have to peel the plastic wrapping off the lid of the diabetic care shakes for my parents. This plastic wrapping is near impossible for my elderly parents to deal with. This is NOT "Easy Open".

I tried this because chocolate was unavailable, I assume there's some sort of supply chain issue, I will not be purchasing this strawberry flavor again, I hope that the chocolate becomes available soon or I will have to find other options...
