Equate Perm Rods, 18 Count

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. I really like the quality of the packaging. I scanned the barcode on my Walmart app and the reviews were good. I took a couple of the rods out to try them out, and even this 70 year old woman with multiple sclerosis could use these to give myself a perm! I could easily give a grandchild a perm, too, should Mother and grandchild choose. When I need perm rods again, I am going straight to Walmart, I am buying Equate. I do not believe I could could go wrong. Equate Perm Rods are my first choice, my only choice.

I recently tried the Equate Perm Rods, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the results! These rods are incredibly easy to use, making the perming process straightforward for both beginners and seasoned pros. I appreciated the sturdy material of the rods, which held my hair securely without slipping or causing any discomfort. One of the standout features for me was how lightweight they felt in my hair, which made the entire process much more comfortable. I also loved that they were affordable without compromising on quality. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which is always a plus when experimenting with new hair products. I love the pink and purple colors of the rods, they match my girly aesthetic room.

I used these on my daughter after I washed her hair. I used moose on her hair and wrapped it around the perm rods. After it was dry omg her hair still had a wet look but to was so pretty. I took the hair out of the rods and pulls the curls individually and she was so pleased with the results. I want to try the bigger one now or I will just buy some more of these.

I loved these perm rods. Obviously I did not do an actual perm with them as that's not what these are used for these days (it's not the norm, at least) for my test and my review, I just used them to add a little body to the hair framing my face. They worked great, all you need is your hair to be wet and put a little holding product of some type in your hair. Put the rods in and either dry your hair with a diffuser, or allow to air dry, remove the rods and voila!

I really like the perm rods even though I didn't use the perm solution. I put them in and within minutes I had beautiful curls that even a curling iron couldn't do. My hair is very soft and silky so without harsh hairspray curls will not hold in my hair but they did with the perm rods. I love this product and will be purchasing more

These Perm Rods by Equate improved my curl game. After dying my hair, my natural curl pattern hasn't been the same. I needed an easier way to get my curls back. The perm rods are the answer! They are easy to put in and easy on my hair. When the rods are in, they are locked in place. Taking them out is easy as well. I have tight, uniformed curls that have bounce. They are even better than my original curls. I personally brush out my curls and they look more natural. Really hold up all day long. I am more than happy to recommend!

Easy to use, I only had issues a couple of times trying to put the tip back. As long as I am extremely rough with tugging to snap the ends I had no problems. I will say though, the tiny ridges to assist with keeping hair on the rod, roughed up my finger tips. I think because I had wet hands while manipulating wet hair it softened my fingers and made them susceptible damage by friction

The Equate Perm Rods worked well overall but didn't include any instructions. As a beginner using perm rods, I had to look up how to use them. Once I had the instructions, they were easy to put in and secure. The elastic band feature is a great touch—it kept the rods securely in place without hassle. They were easy to remove, and the results were nice-sized curls that weren't too tight, giving a more natural look. A good choice for beginners.

i did gair professional for over 20 years. I used. these type of rods for so many perms and curls. They used to come apart back then but the way they come apart now, is ridiculous. I like the size curls the rollers produce. However, i dislike that the rubber does not stay attached to the top or the roller.

The Equate Perm Rods 18 count didn't work well in my hair. I tried the rods in my wet hair without perm solution, and the band just wasn't tight enough to hold my hair. I have fine, long hair and I tried to tighten the rod to my scalp, which kept unrolling on me. My hair also was stuck to the rods and was hard to get out. The Equate Perm Rods may be more suitable for short to shoulder hair length hair, but I would not recommend for long style hair.
