Equate Psyllium Husk Capsules, Compare to Metamucil Capsules 3 in 1 MultiHealth Fiber, Gluten-Free, 160 Count

My daily fiber capsules. I've used this Equate version for years. The price is great, capsules are convenient to take, and it works well. I stay stocked up on this because sometimes it is sold out and can take a little while to get in store again. You can also buy it online though.

Bought several bottles of this. For myself, a friend %26 family. Using to increase fibre in my diet, another is using for blood sugar %26 the other cholesterol. Doesn't have a taste, which is nice. However, you do have to take several for a dose. Drink PLENTY of water with it as well. Haven't noticed any stomach upset myself, nor have the others complained about issues.

Equate is a budget brand that I rely on very heavily. Good to my pocketbook and good quality for my health needs. Since the gastric bypass, I've had trouble with going to the bathroom, but these pills are equal to Metamucil as far as effectiveness without excess bloating or discomfort. Very much a product that I depend on rather heavily.

Since I started taking this psyllium husk powder, my bathroom habits have improved dramatically. I take 6 of these capsules after my last meal of the day. The next morning, I poop once for the day with no issues. Not trying to be gross... but taking this makes wiping so much easier and less messy. One wipe with toilet paper (almost nothing there to wipe), then touch-up with baby wipe, and good to go. Seriously, this stuff is like a miracle. Only downside is it is much more expensive buying them this way in capsule form then it is buying it in powder form. But it is much easier to take in these capsules... no messy mixing, drinking chalky shakes, no cleanup. Definitely get these if you want to improve your poop health!

I was a little nervous since the bottle says two to five pills, but honestly? Two was plenty. It kicked in gently overnight—woke up, felt lighter, and everything moved like clockwork the next morning. No drama, no emergencies. And the price? Total steal. Super happy I tried these—will definitely keep them around for when things get sluggish!!

I found having to swallow so many pills during the day did not work for me so I started emptying the capsules in water. I expected it to be nasty but there is literally no taste. I can't say it was getting a lot of relief by taking the pills but I'm getting more when I drop them in water. I find I only have to take four a day doing it this way.

Might be great for some people, but it's not for me. I couldn't tell any difference %26 it's a lot of money to pay for 0 results. Fiber is very good for people, but it takes a lot daily. These have about 1 gram each. Takes several to get near the recommended 25-30 grams daily. Changed to another product and love it.

I'm just brand new to this product. Um Dr. suggest I use it so I ordered it. I've only tried it once which is today the day I received the product but overall I think the price is good. It looks like it's gonna work cause I do need the fiber so we'll see but so far the price is what got me so I'm giving it a good review because of the price within itself.

Wanted to like this product, but when I found out there is a warning on it for light poisoning I said no way I'm not gonna buy this again and neither should you. I cannot recommend this product. if you're concerned about lead exposure that could lead to cancer.

As soon as I opened these, I knew something was wrong by the peculiar odor. I read the label and see these are a cheap knock-off of the Metamucil capsules … IMPORTED FROM INDIA. I never would have purchased if I knew they were not produced in the USA under strict supervision. Walmart “conveniently” omitted the country of origin in the product info description. SHAME on Walmart for duping customers with a sub-standard product (and claiming “comparable to Metamucil” I'll avoid the EQUATE brand in the future. Quality and product purity are much more important than saving a few cents on “questionable” pharmaceuticals and patent medicines.
