I've tried the name brand and the Equate brand. I will never buy the name brand again. These are better. I still have some bloating after taking, but these help the pain tremendously.

It was recommended by my gastroenterologist to take the brand name of this medication. I have taken it and it works very well, but on the other hand. I decided to try this one as a generic form and it works just as well. I have a lot of stomach issues and I have not had the pain or the other issues that have gone along with it. I experience the abdominal pain associated with irritable bowel. I researched what I could take that you can buy without a prescription and I found peppermint oil capsules. I thought it couldn't hurt to try them. Well let me tell you it has decreased my abdominal pain by 90 percent. I just take 1. or 2 capsules 30 to 90 minutes before I eat and it decreases the abdominal discomfort I usually experience. The only problem I've found with it is if you have GERD you will have to remain upright after taking the capsules. Sometimes I have to weigh the side effects of reflux verses abdominal pain. So bewate of reflux if you have GERD.

Peppermint Oil Dietary Supplement Softgels are something I just recently tried and I wish I had known about this product sooner. I have suffered my whole life with painful gas, bloating and constipation. Followed by having to use stimulant laxatives to forcibly relief my blockages. This has been a lifelong problem. One doctor called it Irritable Bowel Syndrome but the pills he put me on did little to help. I also was suffering with Endometriosis and I have to tell you, death seemed like a reasonable solution. Nothing has helped and some products and pill made it worse, until this product came my way. I even noticed that I don't smell up the bathroom like a barn since using this product. Why don't doctors know about this product? I've been told to use fiber until I thought I was going to explode. I've been told so many things over the years that have done nothing.to help and have just made it worse in some instances. I'm talking to my family about this product and hopefully they too will use it.

Very convenient. Easy to use. Reasonably priced. I'm cleaning more now because of the convenience. I use gloves because the product has powerful ingredients. I even use them with my swifter mop. I just throw a few on the floor and put the mop with a dry attachment on top. They don't have to be attached

So, I tried IBGard when I was diagnosed with IBS. I will say, IBGard seems to work better for me. I wanted these to work as good as the brand name because of the price. Now, I know that all IBS "issues" are not treated equally and may work differently in different people. My regimen is to use these as a daily use and if I notice that my symptoms are getting worse, I'll take the brand name stuff to relieve the symptoms. It helps keep costs down, but I will say that the brand name stuff just seemed to work better for me but this is a good "standby" to have, especially given the cost.

make sure if you are taking meds that this does not interfere with them. Found out that that they can interfere with BP meds like ace inhibitors. my BP started to go up while taking these and went back to normal after i stopped taking them. They work, just be sure to check with your doctor pharmacist, or google.

I bought this cause some reviews stated that it helped with IBS-D and I have issues with symptoms that seem like they are IBS with diarrhea now I have not been diagnosed actually . But to me it seems like that's what it is. Everything I eat makes me run to the toilet with diarrhea , it's been a nightmare. Anywho, After the first dose of two of these pills , I waited 60 minutes atleast before having breakfast like it says. then low and behold like 10 mins. after I ate I had the urgency and had to run to the bathroom with diarrhea. I know too much info but some people might need this info. This is not the results I wanted. I was hoping for the opposite. I will not continue using these. Maybe they will work for someone else. Not for me.
